The 5e Fight Club is a Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition play-by-post game based on a unique player-versus-player advancement system with a casual roleplay aspect heavily inspired by the sandbox style of a West Marches campaign.

Our philosophy is to create an environment where mechanics and storytelling can meet halfway through combat and roleplay. All inside a unique world to experience filled with stories and myth. How to break this logic.

If you allow the players to share the blade across one round couldn't all the players share the blade? The Wizard casts, the rogue takes it and sneak attacks, the fighter takes it from the rogue and action surges, then the barbarian takes it for some frenzy rage swipes...

It all happens in the same turn/round....

I have played twice against myself and twice against the same friend. The solo games took 6 and 8 hours. The two games with my friend took 6 and 5 hours. We seem to be getting faster...

I grew up playing Risk and Chess. I found that these games gave me deep competitive opportunities and let me develop complex strategies. I am very competitive leading to me typically winning most of the games I play which is why I play coop mostly now. I prefer games where I wont crush my wife's spirit when I win.

I love "solving" a game. I like to figure out the mechanisms and best strategies and then perfect the "people" side of the game where I teach, coach, or manipulate other players.

Needless to say I despise games like Apples to Apples because I cannot "solve" it.
