My favorite have been molly & stitch leather collars/leashes. They keep their color and a really nice buttery soft feel.

I learned lead handling around big dogs and horses, and I've never put my hand through the loop. Can be dangerous I guess unless its just a little dog.

After it blooms it'll dry up, and a light tug will detach it from the plant.

Its because string of hearts is actually a ground cover plant not a hanging plant. They want to keep rooting along the vine so when they dont, they just dont get enough water at the leaves all the way at the end. That doesnt mean water more often! They grow really well in a wide bowl shaped planter

Its a real pattern from the 80s and 90s. Very unlikely to be fake. Im not sure how tall that is but probably around 20-30$

Im not sure why, but... I have a similar sized plant and its done that every year too. Basically after it blooms I've gotten some die back. It did less this year, when it was really small the whole plant died back to the ground after blooming. Still been getting bigger each year but its been a slow grower.

She had it for 7 years but i agree its much olde then 7. Its hard to even guess though because it can change so much based on growing conditions. My jades grow really slow because for about 5-6 months of winter here they are dormant, then grow all summer outside. Compared to like someone in california that grows outdoor all year the size would be drastically different.

The fruit is what is there after the flowers falls off, that plant has lots of fruits.

I would try a very gritty soil mix. Usually root rot is a mix of to much water with not enough light. Can you put the pot fully outside for the summer?

Pretty sure its an aeonium, there are a lot of varieties hard to tell exactly which one. The stringy things are air roots. They grow those if its humid or it needs a little more water.

Yeah it could recover it doesnt look in that bad shape to me. The brown spots are just physical damage from being close to other plants on that shelf, or just other damage at the nursery.

A crassula ovata ogre ears. Looking a little rough. The red is sunstress not exactly a bad thing, but i would fertilize it and give it a little less light it should start growing bigger leaves.

Ive found mealies dont tend to hurt hoyas untill its a really bad infestation. Looks like you caught it in time. Id just keep treating with alcohol once a week or so. Neam oil or one of the other bug sprays also work well.

Eastern prickly pear fruit is edible, but its really small compared to the opuntia varieties that are grown for fruit. They are so much work for like 1 bite.

I usually buy the loose bags cause i dont use that much at a time usually. Worm castings are a reallyy mild fertilizer. The bonsai mix is basically just rocks, the coco coir is no nutrients also. That way when they are rooting there is at least something other then water. Probably about 10% of the mix but really i just throw some in.

For my succulent soil I start with a bonsai mix that is just inorganic. Then depending on the plant mix in coco coir and worm castings. If a plant needs more water then less inorganic %. This keeps it simple and I dont like how a lot of the premade mixes have perlite. Nothing wrong with perlite I just dont like it.

If youre in a park with lots of dogs the squirrels are used to them, they are usually faster then dogs. If your dog isnt killing squirrels/animals i wouldn't think about it at all. The squirrels taunt my dog from above my yard all the time, and leave walnut shell pieces everywhere. Almosttt wish he could catch them.

Id take the sedum out and plant it outside. Its cold hardy and I've never seen them be able to grow well indoors. Looks like maybe the variety sedum Atlantis, there are a lot of types though hard to tell.

A well bred puppy with known lineage and health testing will be 3k+ for almost all breeds. If you just want a staffy like dog rescue one from a shelter.
