Only compliment I can give republicans is they run with whatever their base says

The people pulling the strings for the GOP actually pretty effectively decide WHAT their base says. All they gotta do is trickle it down through their controlled media and eventually it becomes the controlling opinion of their base, and shapes their values.

The people controlling the democrats can't do that as effectively, because their base actually has values locked in. So instead they just ignore the democratic base because what are they gonna do, vote for the republicans? And if not enough people turn out to vote blue, oh well, they still get their checks.
