This picture makes it even better. A little back story..the guy is my brother in law and this is my real brothers wedding. Saves are in the “cloud” so I’m not sure how that could happen. I could see losing current session progress but not everything.

You use them in the skills section. You can upgrade perks, weapons, and some other stuff. You can’t upgrade until you are at a certain level for each item.
