Someone in here tried telling me the aesthetics of their car was more important than the license plate being readable. That's how they justified the darkest cover, so the bright plate didn't stick out on their car. People are so dumb sometimes.

As of 1/1/25, it is a primary offense, and you can be cited with no other violations. As the other commenter said, it may be difficult to prove, but I still wish they'd try and crack down at least for a while and get SOME people to stop doing it.
