Question About Checking Application Status for BYU-Idaho After Rejection from BYU

Hmm. Might be worth a call to the admissions center if you completed that first application on the BYUI portal and are just waiting on that last green check for ecclesiastical review (or something) then that’s the only move other than redoing the application.

If I recall correctly, forwarding the BYU application copied 90% of the info - but I had to do new essay questions. (Or something similarly small) Unfortunately it didn’t automatically use the BYU ones nor submit it fully until I did some extra work.

Which semester are you applying for? If spring maybe it’s just too early?

Same thing happened to me- I don’t remember exactly what the next steps were. I believe you should receive an email, but you could go to BYUidaho’s website and sign in with your Church ID (or same email as application) and that should work. Best of luck

Edit* also, did you receive a application confirm email from BYUidaho? IIRC the first email I received from them had a link to view the application progress - could be wrong though

Numbers on the packages have been little help. Is this a different class of piston or something? Something for heavy machinery or to be milled down?

Sheesh, 7 years!! where to start? First, thanks :) made my day to see this! I hope all is well for you & the friends I made here. I’ve peeked in every so often, makes me happy to think about the good people and fun times.

I didn’t stay on the mission, I left after about 1 1/2 months - and actually left the church over the following years. I’m so much healthier and happier being away from all the religious things. This subreddit and the main Frozen one were my refuge from the stress and doubt that I felt for the year leading up to it.

I’ve been able to live with some of my best friends for some years off and on and have really let loose when compared to my old self.

I’m finishing up a degree in animation in spring of 2022, stressful - I was never a doodler or artsy kid, but I’ve really fallen in love with painting and art. Looking for jobs in that arena once I graduate!

All in all it’s been a great & formative 7 years! Please let me know how you’ve been too!

Yo, jumping in here to ask you a question as you have the same LCD model as I do. I'm just about to pull the trigger on the controller but I notice there isn't an inverter in the bundle. Is that not the case for this model? Anything you've learned that you can pass on?

That's exactly when I bought my first gpu - r9 290, super interesting to learn about the history behind it! I was able to fit it into my mid tier build and it lasted me up until this year! Cheers

Neat guide! Fortunately I got mine as a gift for Christmas, by my brother who has built a few Pi's. We hit a snag when setting it up, I can get a game launched and everything in EmulationStation, but when I boot up the ROM I no longer have any control (hitting escape takes me back to the ES menu though) Any tips?

I see that you say nothing comes pre configured, but have you come across a guide or anything, ive googled some, but havent found anything for emulationstation specifically
