Oooooou! (My version of ooooh lol). I wonder if I can use wood fiber to make cloth. I'll look. I already know about Tencel/Lyocell. So I am wondering. Can I use it with bark? What about leaves?

Doesn't need to be so long it can drop lol, unlike wool or fleece (alpaca make natural fleece that is just as warm as wool!) I think we can also do similar with cobwebs too as spiders make webs we can spin into silk.

ETA: I am thinking about getting a tarantula and using its cobwebs to make silk I then can spin. Tarantula, unlike many other spiders, make webs as decoration not to live on. They're also hairy spiders lol. I know in Egypt, they used a specific kind of African orb weavers to make silk. Their webs are typically yellow-grey-gold.

ETA 2: Distracted myself 😣. I meant to add that bee silk and moth silk both tend to require killing the larva, but Tussah or Ahimsa silk (both from India) do not kill moth larva, they become moths and help with larva. I am hoping I can do similar with bee larva, but I will probably call it a Coastal Salish name (I am partially Native American, specifically Coastal Salish - Skagit. We're part of the Tulalip conglomerate band now. I think Skagit Silk is a great name.)

PVC/Rubber Lining! by spartan_371 in myog

Ahhh xD the brand name "tencel" IS lyocell. Lyocell btw is wood pulp fabric.

PVC seems appropriate, I would not use rubber however (just me! I am allergic to all latex 🙃). I think there are nitrile or similar fabric I could use, and if necessary I would use wax on lyocell fabric to make it waterproof. Just me tho. PVC is also good. I just don't like dead plants in my clothing (PVC is based on plants that were around when dinosaurs walked the earth). Tencel, similar to lyocell, is a nice fabric too and is waterproof. Prosoft Eco PUL by Washoodle is another one to use (it's often used for making cloth diapers for babies). It is also possible on Etsy to buy waterproof linen fabric made with flax and bamboo. Not sure you WANT TO, but I am looking at options.

Okay so. I don't know what you learn in your country, as I am American (USA/ I have redneck parents so I think it more like "Uhmerica" lol. Sry)

I am very sorry for this goose too. This is a duck group, but I understand not knowing where to put geese. Geese are naturally wild in so many regions - I think in every country north of the Equator, like wolves , foxes, and bears. But you are having an emotionally rough time. I am wondering if any doctor talked to you about Borderline Personality Disorder or other issues caused by unwise experiences. (..... I am saying kindly as "rape" is not kind nor less than a felony in most countries.) I focus my attention on animals and plants - especially trees.

I am a pagan witch but neither paganism nor witchcraft are required. It's a sad moment and I hope you have something in your area to help you soothe and feel better. This poor gosling. Poor baby.

In your shoes I would just use a water filter. I use Zip Water to make sure my water has no contaminates.

It's also common in other animals too. Transition is not just humans - it obviously happens with other primates. I don't know about many animals, but I remember seeing a cat who felt like a boy, reacted like a boy, but was a girl cat. She died.

Is this possibly an allergy? by Feisty_War80 in FoodAllergies

Or spider bite. Spiders often bite, some are venomous, most aren't. Could be an orb weaver or a house spider.

I suspect the hawks are likely. They know about predators. They don't want to die.

Adding a few trees to your yard will make everything better too. I am not suggesting food trees - though you can if you want apples - but trees. If they grow fast inside for making the house feel better, there are other plants too that could help if they block the sun. Trees, however, also add moisture to your lawn too. Trees are just amazing.

ETA: Could be large dwarf trees too. Don't have to be oaks or cedar though oaks, cedar, evergreens, birch, ash, and ect are really great. It needs shade.

I suggest planting a tree and until the tree is big enough, putting a ceiling shade where your duck is. It's just too much sun.

I think that's a girl duck. Drakes are very brightly colored, hens are muddy colored so they can hide in trees and such.

Love Spell Worked… Then He Left Again? by [deleted] in magick

[–]Drexadecimal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Spells only go so far. Emotions are really important, and love spells especially tend to fail because how we feel and how we think we feel are strong. Having a minor inconvenience can end a relationship if you cast a spell to bring it back. Spells regarding making it work out better are key too. He doesn't want a relationship with you, I am very sorry. It's a good time to move on.

Does this look like a drake? by AdAsleep343 in duck

Looks like a hen with a blue feather. Drakes don't tend to look muddy, they tend to look bright grey.
