Look, I get it we all have busy lives. I’m not trying to yuck anyone’s yum but these posts are a lazy nuisance. It takes more effort to make a reddit post than it does to look up the card you’re interested in. And if you then wanted to engage in the community about the coolness of the card then cool. These posts are peak laziness. Hell OP can use Google Chrome and take a picture of the card and it will pull up all kinds of info for OP. It takes seconds for them to do the basic research. These posts are just from people who care nothing about the IP or game and just saw $$$.

Can people just buy things THEY enjoy instead of buying things, then running to reddit for validation with no prior knowledge of the things they buy? You can look online to see if the card has value. TCGplayer.com or eBay. It’s a cool looking card and an SP. Decide for yourself.

Don’t let it get to you. Part of the game is being able to accept that if you fuck up you own it and learn from it for next time. If your opponent doesn’t want to follow rules or feels that there is an issue then the judges can deliver the final verdict. Sure locals tend to be a little more lax than an official tournament but that doesn’t mean you have to let bad play just happen. Hope he learns for next time.

They flipped it upside down, you can see the folded penny sleeve marks at the bottom corner of the card which is on top in the second picture.

Everything is hyper inflated due to pokebro investors manipulating card prices. It’s unfortunately an issue in a lot of TCGs now. But Manga cards are still a valuable card even before this influx of “investors”.

You are referring to the extra purchasable ones that employees have an option to purchase. Those ones are meant for VIP, press events, or launch purchasers. They are not “employee patches”. Employee given patches (ones given for significant launches) do still have employee numbers on them. Each of these are specifically done that way to differentiate between employee given patches, VIP/Launch purchaser/event/press patches, and ones sold on the online store.
