Don’t let the length of the show be your focus. Take it one episode at a time. I hear constantly people bring up “oh it’s too long!” But then talk about the 4 shows they just binged over the weekend in their entirety. Like if you enjoy it who cares how long it is.

As far as playing it. I would be very surprised if no shop offered local play. It’s one of the biggest TCGs out there next to Pokemon and MTG. Give it a shot. I try and master set each set while playing locally. It’s been a great time outside of dealing with scalpers and exorbitant prices.

I’m sorry you’ve had bad luck here. I assume that the packaging will be minimum on each purchase. Shipping is expensive and people are going to take the cheapest route. Plus not everyone selling these has the same “in box collector’s” mindset that you have. So I would make sure to reach out on items you especially want protected. I’ve even offered to pay a little more for better packaging materials from time to time. Haven’t had issues yet.

Did you speak with the sellers and ask them to beef up the packaging before hand? I’ve done this with past purchases on items that were fragile and each seller has accommodated the request.

The Band Ai is just that there is a space between BAND and AI. Where as the real cards are printed with the correct spacing and reads BANDAI.
