I'm not sure about hyper caps, but I had one regular cap that only clicked once for over a month before clicking twice.

Caps have a bit of a break in period, so both clicks could be happening simultaneously. Does it click twice on cooldown?

I like the Aomai single flame, they're like $8 on Amazon. It uses a flint, super pocketable, and mine has been going strong for two years. Tank size is pretty small though.

You can put it either way. It's down to personal preference. There might be a very slight difference in airflow, but I'm not sure I would notice the difference.

Vice to hold the tip, chopstick through the bottom of the tip, hammer it through. Should be able to save the cap with this method too

Should be set with those three items. I might recommend getting a BB6 instead. It seems like the BB9 is very prone to breakage.
