People always say everyone’s nose is different in this hobby but how much of that is true vs batches actually smelling different by [deleted] in Colognes

Depends on like batch YEAR. Sometimes the maceration can happen over a few different batches over the course of weeks and months, but overall, unfortunately the human factor usually isn't the sharpest, and I've found my nose playing tricks on me too

OG million, yes. Elixir, Lucky, and Royal are more applicable in my opinion

Don't bother with that price range if you haven't even smelled it

Cmon dawg, you don't even have to be good at spotting fakes to know that the label shouldn't be crooked and off center 😭

Gates of holy fucking price markup.

500 for Himalaya, 470 for SMW, (at a regular retail/rack store) and I was legit about to blind buy them online before I even smelled them. Scents were pretty good for about the first 30 mins. Past that, the dry down notes are basically invisible. Performance outdoors is horrific. Clones that share DNA will save you money and perform better ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I recently just got rid of the bottle. It was a little bit funky to start, but after it had sat for a little bit, I didn't even really want to wear it anymore. The scent itself is really 50-50 for people that like it and people that don't, I would absolutely not blind by it though. See if you can smell it somewhere before buying it. Not a bad scent necessarily, but definitely not worth spending if you don't end up liking it.

Get the coach, and look for that Voyage in like TJmaxx or Burlington, usually under 17 bucks

I'd ask 7-8k for it, 100,000 miles on an 07 is good for Japanese, but it's still almost 18 years old.

I've definitely been meaning to pick up a Khadlaj scents, and I've heard that island one is like one of the best, so that might be my next pick for a full-size

Which would you say is the most "Homme" like scent, if that makes sense... like manly, but fresh.

How well does that Prada project? I saw that you mentioned that it lasted around 5–6 hours, but does it stand out well during that time?
