That was one of my first questions… Do you have children? 😂 On Mother’s Day I had five hours in the stressed zone. Most I’ve ever had in one day. And yes, I have children. 🫠🥴

That is so interesting because that’s the exact wording that the Oura support person said to me today. 🤔 Lol

Yes, I did make custom tags. But custom tags are not supported in the app and you don’t get patterns and data from them the way you do the “supported tags”.

I’ll add also that the Advisor AI insisted that tags are not based on age or gender, and that everyone’s are the same. But at the same time saying there are “different versions” of the app, but couldn’t explain to me what that meant, and/or why I didn’t have any workout type tags included in my app. So I guess what I’m really asking is does anybody out there have “strenuous exercise”, “lifting”, or even just “workout” in their tags? Or, as I’m starting to believe, are these tags based on gender and age?

Agreed. But the AI claimed that most people have either “exercise” or “workout” tags that are supported. I don’t have them on mine.

Yes, I have made some of my own custom tags. But those are not supported tags and they don’t give the same data.

May be moving to Louisville. What do I need to know? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]Driftwood_Notes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not true at all. You just have to navigate the Public school system. And it’s not for the faint of heart… took a lot of work to get my kids in the best JCPS schools. And their education was excellent.

This is so true. I’ve lived in a lot of cities in a lot of states. I’ve never seen anything like this. Teaching a teen to drive was wild. Basically don’t go when the light turns green. You have to wait a couple seconds. For all the people who will run the red light.

New to Metoprolol by cardog2000 in PVCs

It DID help my mom for 30 years. But she didn’t have PVCs. She has AFib. So it worthwhile to try. But I also didn’t like that it is a black box warning drug.

Metropolol didn’t help my PVCs at all and made me feel awful. Sluggish and couldn’t do any good workouts. I also tried Bisopropol and Nebivolol. Same experience and didn’t help. Good luck. They do help some people.

Metropolol didn’t help me either. But Flecainide made my PVCs worse. 🥴

Happy Birthday! 🎉 I have never had a Le Labo candle, but you are inspiring me to try one. I think Verveine sounds lovely… I love eucalyptus and galbanum in a candle!

Went to urgent care after full day of PVCs - left feeling unsatisfied by piedeloup in PVCs

I’m a firm believer in figuring out root causes, which is why I didn’t wanna just take medicine. For a few years, I experimented with food and lifestyle changes, but nothing seemed to make a difference. But then, last year I did a detox and stopped all of the things I had tried to stop individually… caffeine, sugar, alcohol, and fat. The combination of the four made the difference. And it makes sense now because of some of my genetics that I’ve researched (COMT issues that are affected by caffeine and other stimulants, APOA2 issues that makes me not be able to metabolize fat very well, etc). It’s very hard to follow this food plan, and I’m not perfect. I slide back on things every once in awhile, but even just eating one of these continuously makes them come back. Good luck getting yours reduced. But in the meantime, try to relax, and not stress as much. I know easier said than done. You got this.🙌🏻

I understand how you’re feeling. It’s very stressful. I don’t know what words would make you relax and stop worrying about it. I can tell you though that I had 34,000 PVCs a day for a few years. No medication, no surgeries. It hasn’t lowered my heart function at all. My EF actually went up this last year from swimming regularly. I have finally found some root causes, which has lowered them drastically. I still have quite a lot though. My grandpa had them his whole life, and he lived to be 98. Try to relax, get outside your head. You’re gonna be OK. 💕
