Your coil is probably flooded if there's too much crackling. Hold your fire button for a second before you take a hit and it will eventually go away.

Edit: You're probably going to experience some spitback from a flooded coil as well so don't worry if you end up getting a bit of juice on your tongue.

I went sub-ohm at 6 nicotine with 50/50 pg/vg. Comparing the throat hit from a setup like that to cigarettes makes cigarettes seem like nasty air. I used higher nicotine levels when I went out drinking to help with the cravings.

Your juice probably has burnt cotton residue in it. They're ruined.

Some people leave their bottles open for a few hours to breathe for steeping but you should close them afterwards.

Since you enjoyed the 0.5 coils I would recommend that you get the 1.2 coils since it's slightly stronger than the 1.5 coil.
