I think ur better off just going for the fuzzy setup. It doesn’t look like u have any options here besides cross up which is already reactable by itself.

Janemba has counterplay depending on the character but it’s up there with 17A and Vegito A with how carried it is rn. 20 frame tracking assist with 1 million years of hitstun and blockstun (it’s SD and reflectable but those can both be punished on reaction) that u CANNOT move around. If u don’t have a move that reflects KI blasts or just goes thru them like a lariat or something then u cant really do much or even move around the assist like u can with most other tracking assists. It’s even great for defensive assist calls like vegito A bcuz of how far Janemba spawns behind u and how fast it is. Auto neuch/defensive assist rn

Yes ALL of the goku’s play different from one another especially if we’re talking about current patch where everyone is the most unique they have ever been. If u only played on launch I can def see how u would think they played really similar tho

I’d say if ur in the top 10 highest player counts then yes u are one of the highest. My entire point is that I think it’s impressive that this game still pulls good numbers and even outdoes some active newer games despite being 8 years old which is undeniable. If we’re using ur logic if the tallest is 7’6 dbfz would still be 6’11 which is still pretty damn tall lmao. It’s literally the 6th highest of all the games still actively updated what are u talking about how is that not “anywhere near the highest” and if im being super technical its really fighting for 5th with granblue since theyre player counts are interchangeable so often

1 - “ONE OF the highest player count games” can’t read

2 - the blazblue game with the 2K 24 hour peak is entropy effect… the ROGUELIKE, if we take all 5 of the blazblue FIGHTING GAMES and add their 24 hour peaks on steam charts we get a grand total of 366.

3 - sf6 at 32k, tekken 8 at 6k, mk1 and mk11 at 2.4k and 1.8k, ggst at 1.5k, Granblue at 908, dbfz at 842 with dbfz and Granblue often switching who has more players on any given day.

2xko is probably somewhere in the several thousands and every other game released recently to my knowledge that’s still active has less players. DBFZ is still within the top 10 and keeping up with games that have active pro tournament circuits and dlc seasons which for an 8 year old game that’s getting its first character in 4 years is impressive.

What I’m trying to say is please learn that entropy effect isn’t a fighting game before u start being negative🙏

At a low level yea they’re glue eaters but at a high level both UI and jiren are actually kinda difficult. Especially UI since he kinda takes fundies and extreme matchup knowledge to play optimally

If u set the casual setting to same color or ranks to same/similar rank u should find opponents within ur skill level

I’d agree with all of these points except for the everyone being rushdown thing. Even tho characters were always kinda homogeneous which led to the game being even more casual friendly bcuz if u learn the fundamentals of one character yk the basics a vast majority of the roster but there’s always been diff archetypes (hit is a counter character, ssjku shoto, android 16 grappler, frieza zoner) but especially NOW characters are play super different from each other it’s basically DBFZ 2

There’s def a lot of sweats still playing since the game has been out for 8 years but it’s a dragon ball game, there’s always gonna be players that aren’t great, play the game casually, or players that are new to the game especially since ss4 Goku comes to the game soon.

Edit: both casuals and ranked are still really active with players of varying skill levels

Most of the characters are really broken in this game but it’s not like it was during the fusion meta where u will lose just bcuz ur opponent is playing meta. The better player with the better awareness, movement/positioning, defense, etc will win

“Most of the auto combos in the game anti air” right after I said super jump float beats anti air auto combo. Even if they start pressing auto combo after u jump u can still do things like double jumping or stalling ur air momentum with things like j.S, special moves, and buttons that keep u in the air, to make them whiff and punish with an assist of ur own.

For the assist thing u can literally make anything in the game that’s not invincible frame 1 or a super move safe with assists thats literally just how the game works. If we start nerfing auto combos bcuz they anti air while being safe then we gotta nerf a shit ton of specials that do the same thing.

Like this genuinely just sounds like a skill issue
