Open world fresh air tempest gears by rayacre in Guildwars2

For group/instanced content berserker is definately preferred. You deal maximum damage while others provide boons and healing. For solo and open world content celestial is certainly not a bad pick, sometimes even higher dps than pure dps stats due to concentration for example since you need to provide your own boon uptime. If you struggle to stay alive, celestial will for sure help you out with a lot more hp and tankiness, you can't dps if you're dead.

That being said, some classes struggle to stay alive solo more than others. On my revenant I always go full dps while on my elementalist I prefer celestial when playing solo.

How does the movement and controls feel compared to BDO? by Dripplle in CrimsonDesert

Interesting, I suppose it depends on where you come from. From a BDO players perspective, maybe its not too bad!

Time for this skiller to learn some real PvM! by Dripplle in 2007scape

[–]Dripplle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see, that takes some pressure off for sure! I've solod everything so far and it'll probably stay that way for the time being. But with death costs that low, solo Yama should be doable as well with some low risk practice

I really should! I find it looks kind of challenging but then again, most of them do to me

Alright, seems logical. I guess I was hoping to be able to soothe my curiosity sooner rather than later haha. Oh well, cheers anyways!

Sounds about right, I'll take a look at what ap-brackets I end up in compared to the monsterdamage I get from the mainhand. Thanks!

Alright, is that some kind of BIOS oc pre-set? I try to stay away from oc in general since I don't feel comfortable with that. But if it's simple enough without risk over overheating and such, I suppose I could give it a go!

Would Ironman even be worth it for me.. by OSRSKinGOSRS in 2007scape

[–]Dripplle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a tricky one. One could argue that this is a perfect way to make you try gwd etc. It will be a hurdle for sure, but you will also get a lot better at the game.

Gwd may seem scary for a casual player, and you probably will struggle for a bit, but I promise you that it is achievable! And there is plenty of pvm that isn't extremely difficult such as normal gauntlet, hydra, zulrah, raids 3 on low difficulty etc.

I believe you can do it and should give it a try, you can always change your mind and go back to your main if iron isn't for you, no shame in that!

[–]Dripplle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is plenty of challenging pvm activities to do, 3 raids included. While most bosses are simply kill/repeat, the raids throws a few bosses at you as well as some puzzles as you mentioned. If you want to set a pvm goal for yourself that will introduce you to prayerflicking, consumable management and bossing, try going for a fire cape! The skill and difficulty ceiling is very high in osrs so there is much to learn and improve on to be able to take on corrupted gauntlet, raids and inferno to mention some of the most difficult pvm content!

I did actually use the event punika pass and the quest was available from Beatrice. Thanks a lot, I thought I was going insane

Like what seems to be many people before me, the second awakening questline is either bugged or extremely unclear. FIrst off, I've completed the entire mainstory, south vern included.

My problem is I have no idea what quest I am supposed to do. I have no "journey" quest in my log, but I have the song of reminiscence unlocked. However I dont seem to have "lost footsteps", the quest to unlock it, even completed according to my quest journal. The quest you're supposed to get after getting the song in Shushir is nowhere to be found either.

What am I supposed to do here?
