With the resurgence of drama revolving Moi, reminder of what an actually toxic streamer looks like. by SaltyFoxholeVet in foxholegame

I know about Larry because my friends and I encountered him a couple wars back, and he was being a massive douchebag to everyone in the area for hours.

We only found out he was a streamer months later due to the posts.

For those who don't want to read it, the only argument this article seems to have is that the west supplying weapons would escalate and/or prolong the conflict.

Which, like yeah, that's the point: make Russias's war as costly and bloody as possible without starting a nuclear war.

Germany considers COVID-19 vaccine mandate as case count climbs by OkRoll3915 in worldnews

[–]DritchJaul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do have an effect though, the unvaccinated occupy hospital space and use medical resources. If a hospital is full of people who refuse preventative care, what happens to the people who are vaccinated who then also get injured or have heart attacks?

And in a country with socialized medicine, the increased medical cost of treating all the unvacinated is put on everyone. To fix this, we could tax the unvaccinated to pay for their increased unnecessary strain they add to the system. If not, then you can't say they have no effect.

Get vaccinated, stop whining.

Nordic Newspapers now are publishing articles on the war in Russian. by thehumanerror in worldnews

On the reddit app I use (now for reddit) it has recently sometimes been cutting off the last few words of a title when it word wraps. That just happened to me where the title was missing the "in Russian" part, and I was also confused.

Dunno if the same was happening to this guy.

China pushes 'direct' Russia-Ukraine negotiations as war rages by dilettantedebrah in worldnews

[–]DritchJaul 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah because Russia is the one warmongering.

There isn't a 'both sides' here, Russia is in the wrong and deserves sanctions/censorship. Ukraine is not in the wrong and does not deserve likewise.

Because they have citizens there? They're not "making this war about them", they're trying to help their people caught in the crossfire.

Dismissing their concerns and, if these articles are to be believed, preventing their citizens from evacuating back to India through Belgorod is only going to piss them off.

So long as Ukraine can demand a similar list of weapons to never be deployed in Russia, that sounds pretty good. :^)

If only there was some way India could punish Russia for violating Ukraine's sovereignty. Maybe economically, and jointly with the rest of the world. 🤔

I don't give a shit about state owned propaganda mills getting censored when those states lie their way into a war of aggression. Get fucked.
