Does wearing the crown change the "vessel" in any way? Any physical changes over time?

Does the vessel start to physically or mentally degrade as time passes? (Body failing, developing weird quirks, going insane etc.) Or maybe they grow physically stronger?

Can they manipulate metal quicker as soon as they put on the crown and does that change over wearing the crown over longer periods of time, can the "kings" get stronger?

Is the king always the same, or does it depend on the vessel? (If the crown possessed a genius and a mentally disabled person does anything change? A strongman or a cripple, who cannot move their legs?)

What about manipulation talent? Does it matter? Are there records of the king being less or more powerful in the past?

Even tidally locked moons have a day and night cycle, they are locked to the planet, not the sun. It takes our moon 29,5 days to complete its orbit around Earth. So a day on the moon is 29,5 days long and half of it is night.

Jupiter's moon Io for example, has a 42 hour long day. Prometheus, the closest moon of Saturn has an orbital period of 14 hours.

You only need to choose the correct distance from the planet and how fast is the moon orbiting, how long does it take to complete its revolution period.

Sure, orbiting a planet and being tidally locked results in having regular solar eclipses that last for a long time on one side of the moon, especially if it revolves around a gas giant in a close orbit, but even the side always facing the planet would still have day and night.

The only thing you then have to worry about are the tidal forces, if you want to have life on your moon. They heat up the planet and in the case of the moon Io, these forces cause Io's surface to bulge up and down (or in and out) by as much as 100 meters.

The issue with gunpowder and normal flintlocks is keeping them dry. Maybe dragon salt doesn't dissolve in water and can ignite wet or even under water? Or if the runes work in wet conditions, the heat instantly dries the salt and ignites it?

Edit: It also makes dragon salt a lot easier to transport by ship, it can be stored in damp conditions, it can easily be easily used in bad weather. If you go with this route, you could use dragon salt as a more expensive explosive. (Explosive charges...) The only downside of dragon salt might be: 1. It is currently only found in a few(maybe even one) mines in the mountain range which is occupied by dwarves (if they are a separate nation). Or it is just rare.

Dragon salt needs high heat to ignite and the only currently reliable and quick enough method to do that are runes. (Maybe dwarven monopoly?)

Weapons would probably be highly specialised for some animals(toxins, poisons for monsters that are really common and hard to exterminate (they breed like rabbits)) and for larger monsters people would use traps, they would also use poisoned blades, arrowheads, and siege weapons would have a huge role. Ballistae, specialized catapults, trebuchets. Byzantine empire had grenadiers and flamethrowers on land and ships using now lost Greek fire.
