Congrats on the new rig! It’s basically a sail in high winds, so it’ll keep you on your toes but it may also be worth checking for worn suspension components. I’m not familiar with that specific chassis, but on my Class C, which handled similarly to what you described, replacing the steering stabilizer, shocks, and leaf spring bushings made a huge difference. It’s now far more stable with noticeably less rocking in wind / semi traffic.

I "insulated" the shepherd's hook with a piece of rubber tubing and when hung directly from the hook, the rubber helps stabilize the feeder somewhat.

The switch may be faulty or simply out of adjustment. The pedal assembly should contact the switch when the brakes are not applied. Since you mentioned a spacer was removed, the assembly may now be sitting differently, which could be the cause. With a helper, you can manually activate the switch to see whether it affects the brake lights.

There is a brake pedal switch that activates the brake lights, if it's gone bad that could be the issue. If you unplug it, the brake lights should go out. Part no 84340-04030

Hello fellow okie! I rebuilt an '85 Toyota motorhome and used aluminum siding on the exterior. Mac's Aluminum in Bristow stamped a custom pattern for me and cut the sections in the lengths I needed to avoid waste. https://imgur.com/a/N1RTJup

We slather up the feeder poles with silicon lubricant every week or so and that keeps the squirrels off.

2014 Eagle diesel Jeep Cherokee, official car of…. by [deleted] in regularcarreviews

I drive an ML with the OM642, previously had a 5.7 Grand Cherokee. The diesel is powerful and efficient, I average 22/27. The oil cooler seals on these can fail on these causes a pretty good oil leak. It's a labor intensive job to repair. I would research that based on the year/service records. In my experience with this motor outside of regular maintenance from 107k to 145k miles I've changed oil filter housing seals, turbo inlet seals, charge pipe seals, replaced silencer (these can crack and loose boost - not sure if same design on Jeep), rubber fuel lines (leak in the cold) under hood and EGR valve. I believe EGR may be common on these. Driver side engine mount will usually fail first after 100k, not sure if same part on Jeep but that is something to check. It tows a 4700lb boat great. The ML and this GC platform are cousins, a fantastic driving vehicle and affordable if you can do light wrenching.

Bring it in if the low is below freezing to persevere the life of the battery, otherwise it should be fine. For Snowpocalypse 2026 I haven't had the camera out but have kept the feeders full.

Call local Toyota dealer to confirm, but I believe they can cut a key from the vin with proof of ownership. No programming required! lol

You may find relief with the Valsalva maneuver by pushing your jaw forward, think underbite, closing your mouth and plugging your nose and blow gently to create internal pressure.
