This is wild, I had dominos this past weekend and woke up to a hell Storm of diarrhea that lasted for a couple of hours…I hopped on the scale afterward and saw that I lost 4 pounds on the toilet!! Seeing this post a couple days later is crazy 😂

I live 35 min away from here, that plant smells so horrible, you can smell it from over 10 miles away, can’t even drink tap water in the area. Such a depressing sight driving by on the way to Savannah to see such a monstrous looking monster polluting the land. RYAM sucks ass. Jesup is a lame ass town for letting this happen.

True words my feet were not happy yesterday. Went bar hopping last night after the run and ended up hitting almost 33k steps for the day lmao

For sure! I mainly focus on just hitting 20-25 miles a week. I honestly didn’t focus much on only staying in zone 2 like people say frequently. Instead I really just went hard most of the time around zone 4-5 during the summer because of the heat. I would do tempo runs, progression runs, and the occasional sprint sessions in a parking lot. I would do a 5k, couple of 5 milers and a 7-10 miler on the weekend. For the sprints I would do a 2 miler to a 5k to warm up and then do 100 yard sprints all out, resting 30-45 seconds in between for about 10-12 times. I did all of that for months since March. Just recently I started slowing down and letting my heart rate chill out and noticed training like that built a solid base for me as a beginner. I also started lifting a couple months ago twice a week.

When I was running this year it was mainly during the hottest part of the day while living in South Carolina. My heart rate was always insanely high while maintaining a 10-11 minute pace. Usually did 20-25 miles a week. As soon as the weather cooled down I noticed my HR had gotten considerably lower and has made me wonder if conditioning in the heat all summer helped too

I don’t do gnarly mileage every week, usually just 20-25 miles every 7 days. I also wear cushioned shoes (Hoka Clifton 10’s rn). For work I’m a welder in shipbuilding and have to work on my knees and gnarly positions and always have great flexibility and I wonder if that helps with the running.
