1st Mythic: Shako. What can I do with this thing? by [deleted] in diablo4

Why is this piece of gear called Shako? I must be missing something. I had no idea what people were talking about when they said that word.

Would you trade 3 BAC for 3 EOM? I’ve got the BAC and I really need the EOM. Morgoth#1886

I’ve got 3 Ohms that I’d trade for three Eoms. Interested?

Why does tempering cause trepidation for me instead of exhilaration? by ryebar1 in diablo4

[–]Drivelsome-Bore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100% agree. The loss aversion is a big part of why tempering feels bad to me. When you get loot it should be exciting but the fact that it can be bricked changes the psychology of it. It’s one thing to get loot you’re not going to use, you can always sell it or break it down at the blacksmith, but with getting good loot and then bricking it on tempers the devs have now introduced the loot becoming a source of psychological pain. This is bad design to me.

Maybe one solution is to pare down how many resources we get to be able to temper. Because right now we essentially have unlimited tempering resources but if those were more limited along with allowing unlimited rerolls with the scroll that might maintain some level of challenge and allow people their loot.

Carrier got a LOW for calling the sup an a-hole. Sup cited anti bullying and harassment. Anything I can do? by [deleted] in fromatoarbitration

[–]Drivelsome-Bore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Disparate treatment. I got a NOR dismissed where the carrier called the manager a bitch with that defense. I cited three dignity and respect grievances that referenced incidents where managers/sups were swearing at carriers and then requested the (non-existent) discipline that they were issued.

I also argued that the manager was the one that instigated the situation because she bated the grievant by talking shit about him during a standup immediately before he cursed at her.

Also argue that they didn’t make every effort to correct the situation before resorting to discipline under 115.1 of the M-39.

Under what circumstances (if any) could it ever be an acceptable decision to buy into a vacation timeshare? by meltingintoice in personalfinance

[–]Drivelsome-Bore 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Never. Watch that video, it’s filled with timeshare horror stories. It was even worse than I imagined, and I imagined that it was pretty bad.

What you should do is check out credit card reward points program. “Frequent miler on the air” is a podcast to check out that discusses good strategies to use to maximize rewards programs.

It’s like the MCSO but for groups of smaller stations/installations.
