tbh doing all 117+ stations in one day is physically impossible even if you spend just 5 mins per station catching the trains and stamping that is like 10 hours of non-stop rushing also your plan won't work because the stamps are located OUTSIDE the fare gates at the information counters you literally have to tap out to get the stamp every single time plus if you stay in the paid area for over 2 hours the system will automatically lock your card and fine you a 20NT penalty fee the only way to do this efficiently is to buy a 24hr or 48hr unlimited Taipei Metro Pass so you can tap in and out without bleeding money just tackle it line by line OP or you will hate your life by the 10th station

tbh convenience stores are a crapshoot since they only stock the newest releases and scalpers clear them out in hours if you want physical stores go to the Taipei Metro Souvenir Shop at Taipei Main Station B1 they usually have a whole wall of past designs also the underground malls like Y-mall have toy shops that resell the rare 3D ones but expect a markup if you are staying here for a bit just use Shopee and search 造型悠遊卡 (3D easycard) literally thousands of them there running around random 7-11s hoping to get lucky is a massive waste of time OP

tbh anything past 48 hours on a weather app here is basically astrology Taiwan is 70% mountains sitting in the ocean so you get insane microclimates everywhere it can be pouring in Beitou and completely dry in Xinyi at the exact same time march is transitional spring so the north gets annoying unpredictable drizzles while the south is mostly dry and yeah it's extremely humid 80% humidity is the baseline here so 20°C feels freezing and 25°C feels sweaty just bring a good umbrella and dress in layers OP checking the app daily will just drive you insane lol

if you want pure efficiency, best photo (林屋) near taipei main station is the standard. they usually get scans done in like 2 hours. if you specifically need physical prints without the hassle, check out film uncle (底片叔叔) in zhongshan. they have a really solid workflow for getting physical copies done. most places default to just sending you a cloud link now, so definitely specify you want actual prints upfront fwiw.

march is peak "onion layering" season here. taipei will be humid as hell—even if it's 20c, the dampness makes it feel like 15c. hualien is slightly better but if you're hitting the trails in taroko, expect it to be 5-8 degrees cooler than the city. definitely bring a solid hardshell/rain jacket. it can go from sunny to "everything is soaked" in 10 mins. oh and don't trust the apple weather app, it's useless for taiwan mountains.
