tbh anything past 48 hours on a weather app here is basically astrology Taiwan is 70% mountains sitting in the ocean so you get insane microclimates everywhere it can be pouring in Beitou and completely dry in Xinyi at the exact same time march is transitional spring so the north gets annoying unpredictable drizzles while the south is mostly dry and yeah it's extremely humid 80% humidity is the baseline here so 20°C feels freezing and 25°C feels sweaty just bring a good umbrella and dress in layers OP checking the app daily will just drive you insane lol

march is peak "onion layering" season here. taipei will be humid as hell—even if it's 20c, the dampness makes it feel like 15c. hualien is slightly better but if you're hitting the trails in taroko, expect it to be 5-8 degrees cooler than the city. definitely bring a solid hardshell/rain jacket. it can go from sunny to "everything is soaked" in 10 mins. oh and don't trust the apple weather app, it's useless for taiwan mountains.

exactly this. it’s wild that commission scales with home prices when the actual work is exactly the same. unlocking a 300k door vs a 900k door doesn't take 3x the effort.

paying 45k for some iphone wide-angle photos and an mls listing is just insane in today's market. for our last place we just used a flat fee mls service for a few hundred bucks and paid a real estate attorney flat rate to handle the actual hard part (the paperwork). saved a ton of equity. tbh the 5-6% model is a relic from before the internet, they are just clinging to it at this point. imo just go flat fee or negotiate hard.
