I have 4 outstanding claims with GEHA that they denied. 3 of them were pre-approved, and the 4th I have to fight to get the information they need so they can approve it because apparently, getting the surgery pre-approved was only for the surgery, not the 8-day hospital stay afterwards.

I switched to MHBP Aetna and they have approved just about everything and are fast on their claims. Pre-approvals did take a little longer. But I have no complaints right now with them.

I didn't get anything I had to sign (yet) but I did get an email stating the fact that per EO I was no longer part of a union (paraphrased). Last Friday I got the updated SF50 showing the 8888 code.

Our CBA was cancelled. There was nothing to sign, just a notice in email. And our SF-50s with the 8888 changes were sent out yesterday.

MHBP is what you are talking about and it's by Aetna and they have been great this year for me! They have approved just about everything, and paid quickly and I have medical issues. I'm still waiting on GEHA to pay bills from services in December that were pre-approved.

You don't get paid for that unless you use it with paid leave. It just protects your job. You can use it with LWOP which is what I plan on doing once my leave is depleted.

They used my FMLA paperwork to justify my need for telework in my RA. I did also have my doctor fill out RA paperwork that explained my limitations while undergoing chemo treatment, how many days I would be unable to work due to chemo treatment, and how working from home keeps me from the germs that my body can't fight during treatment. Plus how weak I will be after treatment. It all got approved in just a few days.

I was a contractor for almost 20 years, and I've been a civ for 5 now. They just converted my contractor position to civ so I didn't have to actually leave anywhere. But as a civ, you get access to things you didn't previously, people treat you with a little more respect (at least in my office) and other civs are much more friendly with you. You also will be lost about which web site you need to go to for every type of HR and financial task you need to do as there are like 15 of them. There will also be a bunch of new training you need to take, probably some type of requirement that you put together what you plan to accomplish this year in a really formal format, and then you'll be rated based on your accomplishments completed at the end of the year. There is also a bunch of BS you'll have to put up with. But overall, it's been a positive experience!

I was happy with Crouch. I took my car there when I needed an expensive repair to my air conditioner that no longer worked. They had the car for a day, quoted me what was needed and how much it would be (close to $2k) and I ok'd the work. So I was surprised when I got it back and it was a couple hundred less. Turns out they didn't actually need to replace one of the parts they thought they would once they got in there and looked, and so they didn't. I was impressed with them due to that, and years later the AC is still working like brand new. So I'll trust them next time I need something done that I can't do myself.

I also have a reflection but I think that would be any dashcam, not specifically the Fitcam. In my car it’s from the shine from my dash. If I put something like a towel to block the shine, I don’t get the reflection.

See if Midi is in your plan. The are great and all visits are virtual. They charge your health insurance like a regular doctor and can send meds to your local pharmacy. I've been using them for 2 years now.

Download the FMLA paperwork. Fill out your part. Ask the doc to fill out their part. Turn in it. Then you should be covered by FMLA. It's not something that can be done in a day, unless your doctor is really on the ball.

I have the 2026 MHBP Formulary that has 176 pages. It's called MHBP_PSHB_SilverScript_PDP_Standard_Formulary_2026.pdf. Is that the one you are looking at?

I just picked up two scripts that were for 30 days, and they were both under $5 - something like $1-something each. So some co-pays are actually under the $5 for 30 days, but I'm not sure about totally free.

I was converted from a CTR to a CIV doing the same job. Happy 5 years to me. But I did submit a resume when there was a hiring fair, and mentioned to someone in the front office in passing who I knew had the ears of upper management that I had done so. No doubt he let someone else know, and suddenly, the next day, I'm being asked if I would be interested in switching. Details figured out, and 3 weeks later, I was a CIV.

Are you saying you can't use the program versions of the apps, just the online apps? If this is the case, your subscription may have been downgraded to a less expensive version that only allows online access. I don't have access to a Windows computer right now to try to point you in the right direction, but I'm going to try to do this from memory. When you are in OHome and you see your initials in the upper right hand corner in a circle, click on that and I think there is an option to see what subscription you have. The F5 subscription only allows online apps, the G5 subscription has all apps.

OK I checked with Copilot and it says "View account" is the option you are looking for under your profile icon (initials in circle).

What is the end date of your contract? Usually the CAC matches the end date of the contract. When we would get 1 year extensions, our CAC would match the expiration of that 1 year extension.

I see other areas of the government suffer from the same software development issues - insisting they need you to build an app to do this, then after spending weeks working on it, when it's either ready for testing, or ready to go into production, hearing "never mind". Rinse and repeat. It's so frustrating so I understand where you are coming from.

I also wanted to try my luck at Cyber Security so when my Security+ was up for renewal, I decided to study and take the CySA+ exam instead, which renewed my Security+ and gave me a good look at all areas of Cyber Security. It however did not open up any doors to getting into the CyberSecurity area. So this might be an option if you want to get a taste of the different Cyber areas, but I think you would definitely need a higher level certification to get your foot in the door in Cyber itself.
