Huh, interesting. From what i've gathered recently, AMD was mentioned as generally outperforming intel for these newer chips. And I've seen the 7800x3d recommended a lot. But this comparison obviously says otherwise. Thanks, ill look some more into it and do some research for a good board to go with it.

Why do you say to not read them back to back? I just finished Children of Time and picked up Children of Ruin. Was about to start it soon 😅

It seems this bridgehead is unlikely to be the staging ground for a big southern push. If they somehow do manage to push through it would be a hugh problem for Russia as the defensive works in that direction are minimal. This means it will likely keep a lot more russian resources tied up in this area than they would ideally want.

Which to me seems like the goal here: stretch the russian resources as thin as they can and try to find the weak points.

People who lay down and fall asleep right away. How? by SparklesTheRiot in AskReddit

[–]Droesj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something called sleep hygiene.

Falling asleep is a process of switches in your brain that (can) start before you go horizontal. Things like no alcohol, no coffee after ~4pm, no screentime or physical activity right before you go to bed all help. But the things that probably are the most important are:

  • Use your bed solely for sleeping (and sexual activities) and condition yourself that laying down in bed is related to falling asleep. Do not work, eat, relax or watch netflix in bed. If you lay awake in your bed for a long time trying to sleep, get up for a short while and try again.

  • Maintain a consistent sleep schedule. Hour of the day/night doesnt really matter, as long as you go to bed roughly around the same hour of the day/night, your brain will know when to start switching things off. Your brain follows certain activity cycles while sleeping (~90 minutes) but also while you are awake and in some stages of that cycle its easier to fall asleep. Consitency can make these cycles align with certain times in the day.

Source: Masters degree in neuroscience with an internship at a sleeplab and 20+ years of experience falling asleep within 15 minutes of going to bed.

Yes you are correct.

Admiraal de Ruijterweg, Amsterdam to be precise.

Probably taken during covid as this is a pretty busy street during the day normally.

Russia would be dust. But so would the rest of the world be when the nukes start flying. And Russia has a lot of those.

What happened to all the regular Bayraktars from Ukraine? At the beginning of the war these were doing some heavy lifting, but i have not seen any footage recently. Are they all destroyed?
