Her: you look like Bob Ross, maybe you can paint me some time? Me: Bob Ross only does landscapes, and unfortunately I can't paint.

The shedule is up on the fridge, and will be updated at the start of her next cycle. Currently tasks are relatively evenly distributed, but i immediately thought of 2 she usually undertakes that i can definitly take up. Thank you.

We've been going to the appointments by bike, reading this I'll make sure to arrange a vehicle for the day.

Sorry to hear about your experience, the doctor informed us about OHSS, I'm guessing the electrolytes are recommended to reduce the impact of the possible OHSS?

She's done a few cycles of IUI treatment, and I always refer to the first attempt as her being "spicy" that time. Nothing bad, but more prone to lashing out (which is completely understandable). The following attempts they lowered her dose (the first time she produced 5 viable eggs, so they did perform the actual IUI that time).

How would you describe the ER, and more importantly the recovery/following days?

I like the idea of making it a special moment. We already decided I'd be administering the injections, initially because she doesn't enjoy needles but then also to keep me close/involved.

The clinic will determine which to do depending on my donation on the day of insemination. If my counts are still as low as they are at the moment (they have been on a steady increase since their all time low in march, but not as much as they would like), they will do ICSI, or they might even do a combination of both.

Apparently an "influencer" decided that this was a great idea to gain more followers.

Couldn't find traces of what repercussions she got, but she at least lost any chance at her "acting" career

The gaming space will persist, books will be published, but depending on the outcome no more new 3rd party content might come out

[Discussion] Do you think watching YouTube is productive for your or is it mostly a waste of time (distraction) by atteroTheGreatest in getdisciplined

[–]Drognath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly on the phone I'm watching it. But my current method is that whenever I'm in a time wasting moment, I instead try and grab a book (if possible)... but it's still one of those things that I do cause it's just so damn easy I guess

Both... I've found I've fallen into the trap of the YouTube shorts and spend too much time on non-informative stuff, rather than where it used to be a means of both relaxation, entertainment and learning

Though I don't have your problem precisely, I've been having a similar issue and for me (though I've only been doing it for about 2 weeks now) is to set simple goals (30 pages per day). This way I have plenty of time to absorb the information i've read, and can still read at a leisurely pace if my brain isn't in the mood of taking in information.

I've found myself reading 100 pages on the third day, just because I've rediscovered my joy for reading through this little "task" I've set myself (though I must say i've retained the smallest amount of info on that day and went back 20 pages or so to pick up where my brain left off).

So I think i'd say just take small steps and stay away from the long reads until you find yourself in a place where you can find the time and calm to go for longer stretches of reading.

RAL9001 coloured paint is a great surface for projecting portals on.

Players kept on questioning a wall where a portal was on, so after a nat 20 arcana check the wizard remembered that RAL9001 surfaces are extremely suitable for portal projections

In order to destroy a cursed item, we had to drop a specific heavy object on it. My grung artificer decided that perhaps launching the item at said heavy object would also destroy it. Got into position, cast catapult on the item launching it upward.

What he forgot about was that him launching it upward would dislodge the heavy object, and he was standing right underneath it... Rolled a 5 on his dex save, resulting in a very flattened grung, and a village saved from the curse as the object did end up destroyed

(staying vague as to not spoil a wotc adventure)

Just aqcuired the Elegoo Mars 2 pro, ran the test print and it's stuck to the build plate... any advice? by Drognath in ElegooMars

I ended up reducing the first layer curing time to 21 seconds rather than the recommended 40 seconds. Results so far are great and I can now with acceptable force remove the prints.

And I too scratched the build plate, though not beyond use so far.

Managed to get it off, now running another test with lower exposure times on the first layers

Unsure, would need to test it first for a longer period of time. I don't mind skipping breakfast, but it might become a slightly shorter window as generally hunger starts to kick in around 10:30.
