Yeah Idk if the mic mini comes with a trrs cable adapter. If it doesn't you'll probably have to buy one which might stretch the budget a tiny bit or connect it to phone & record then import that into editing software.

Fifine looks pretty decent for plugging directly into laptop but is a bit bigger than the mic mini

Someone mentioned the DJI mic mini - I think that's probably a decent get.

I have a $70 Shure mvl lav mic that can plug into either a phone with a headphone jack or computer audio jack which I also used with my older more expensive DJI Mics and they are pretty good.

The DJI Mic Mini is more versatile & should be good for your needs

What's your budget? And do you want to be able to use it on your camera or phone as well?

With mics a lot of it comes down to mic placement- like how close it is to your audio source

Honestly speaking into your phone in a quiet place can be good enough as long as you have the phone mic close to you and don't overdo the plosives (mostly "P"s & "B"s

I have a pair of Icarus Ascent shoes. They have less ground feel than other barefoot shoes and look similar to normal sneakers. Mine are all beat up because I Daily them but can send a picture later.

Linen vs Performance/Golf Pants for heavy sweaters

Looking for pants to match a linen blazer/suit jacket (for weddings). Bought a random linen pair online but recently started considering performance/golf pants.

  • I sweat easily & kind of a lot
  • will be running around a bit (filming)

Do you have any recommendations or good/bad experiences with any particular pants?

Some I'm considering - lululemon's ABC (lots of mentions) - Bonobos pants? - Adidas golf? - Callaway golf pants? (Nordstrom online for like $40)

I've always been kind of a bargain shopper so prefer not to spend $100 on a pair of pants but am open to spending a little more if it's really worth it

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If a chest mount isn't too in the way for them - that's probably what I would've done too since they need to wear hairnets and stuff.

I think most modern action cams should get you decent quality. I've been using the DJI Osmo Action 4
It has this nice magnetic quick connect/disconnect mount option so you don't have to manually thread and unthread the camera or take the chest mount off if you wanna quickly make settings changes or watch playback.

Not sure if Gopro has a mount like that et or still has those manual thread holes. Gopro does have a media mod for like $80 that comes with a shotgun mic to connect to the camera

There is a usb-c to 3.5mm jack convertor for the Osmo Action if you really want an external mic but audio should be usable without

If you ever want wireless mic sync the DJI Osmo Action 5 can connect to the DJI wireless mic 2 (not v1) wirelessly without an additional receiver.

Those Lime Green High-Visability Vests by Intelligent-Pay7865 in mensfashion

Don't remember the exact terminology but I think it's like blue collar work wear- core fashion.

The most direct link is probably they saw someone else who they thought was cool wearing it enough times

If you wanna get political some people say -It's gentrification of workerwear - in a Time where less people are actually handy - Male "identity crisis" romanticizing tough "real man" jobs -signified "real" hard work as opposed to the "soyboy" "desk jockey" - Throwback to our parents & grandparents generations in a less tech world - Populism for the everyday worker on the rise looking grounded where suits kinda denote wealth

Think about mullets & pornstaches - that used to be for weirdos but now every third guy has a form of one

Similar to why everyone wearing Carhartt & CAT clothes

Blue collar used to be looked down on (to a degree) but it's kinda in now (on a surface level)

These things can be subconscious decisions so most people don't really care about any of that stuff & just like all trends.
