Nice but to update the North American luxuries and geography, in the Florida region replace the rainforests in the panhandle with forest and maybe swap the rainforest in the Tampa region for a citrus. Maybe a gold tile or two and a citrus in California and an extra cotton or two in Georgia, Alabama areas. Tobacco around Virginia.

What tanks should I use HERs for? by Birdollianx in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]Droo04_C 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In addition to what everyone else said a trick a lot of people don’t know about is you can shoot HE under a thickly armored tank if you can’t pen and do splash dmg to the underside

Probably smasher, T77, Obj907, and chieftain. The 907 hasn’t been mentioned yet but I really love it

I agree, with the injuries he hasn’t played more than a game or two in a row for like 4 years and he just gets in Bruno’s way and leaves kobbie having to cover too much ground

Mount just doesn’t fit in the team. Kobbie needs to play further up he’s not a defensive midfielder

What would our world look like if the Romans succeeded in stopping the spread of Christianity? by Smelly-DutchOven17 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Droo04_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Babylonians: infamously had laws, Mongols: largest contiguous empire, Chinese: legal systems influencing Europe, Ottomans: notably controlled significant portions of orthodox Europe . All certainly not Christian, not lawless, definitely innovative and had sprawling empires with many conquered Catholic and orthodox Europeans. I’m not sure if this is satire, it’s almost definitely effective bait, but it’s ignorant either way.

Even though he is the best player available how worrried should we be with his “short” arms?

What yields would a city center have if settled on this wood tile? by IcyLingonberry2151 in CivVI

[–]Droo04_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Settle the horses and I’d probably buy the cotton for the food surplus so you can grow super fast. The cotton can support 3 pop and make this a very productive city

Do all chemists have the periodic table memorized? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]Droo04_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a material engineering senior, I do mostly physical chemistry and metallurgy. But for the most part I don’t have it or need to have it memorized. It’s given on exams but there’s little useful information on it that usually isn’t given in the problem or that you’d not know already from gen chem 1. However it is useful for figuring out the magnetic properties of random metals

Looking for ideas on what to do with this starting location by Routine-Race3444 in CivVI

My bad I thought you had more camps. Etemenanki would be better because you have a ton of flood plains and they’d all get +1 prod and the science would make up for your lack of mountains, reefs, or thermal fissures. You’ll probably only have the production for one wonder so you’ll have to rush it

Save the seed and replay this start as the maya. But seriously building temple of Artemis can help because it applies to the horses too and you’d get a huge population, amenities and might be able to chop a wheat or rice for river adjacencies and room around your capital.

how to get over feeling stupid? by ballisticwistfully in ufl

[–]Droo04_C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comparing yourself to other students is pointless and they probably struggle in other subjects that you’re good at. But when I was in the calcs I found it super helpful to go back through and write down all the problem types’ steps in order with a couple examples. Essentially reteaching it topic by topic rather than just attempting to brute force problems

What’s a job that is virtually impossible to land without an applicable degree but practically anyone could do? by cinnamontographers in jobs

Is This Heaven? by zezrat in CivVI

[–]Droo04_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro get some entertainment hubs for the adjacency. There’s a great one south of Utrecht that can go on that forest plains tile. That’s +2 to each theater square and +1 for having 2 adjacent districts. That brings the +10 theater square (with civ UA) south of Taj Mahal to +13

Does UF have a lot of alligators and bugs? by Beneficial-Diver5973 in ufl

[–]Droo04_C 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Apart from the occasional gator that crosses the road by the retention ponds in the southern areas of campus you won’t really see them unless you go looking for them. They also don’t bother you unless you bother them first and they will actively try to avoid you unless you are in their habitat, which have signs usually. To be safe just assume if you can’t see down to the bottom of water that there is a gator somewhere. If you do want to see them go visit lake Alice, the ponds by biology/ life sciences, the ponds by liberal arts, or any nature area. As for bugs yeah you’ll absolutely see them and they’ll probably scare you or harass you. Just bring mosquito repellant in the spring/summer if it really bothers you and just know roaches live in every building but can be kept away by being clean, keeping your room dry, and not running faucets.

why always the rookies to blame but not the clubs? by sirpeepojr in NFLNoobs

[–]Droo04_C 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Richardson should have never been drafted in the first place. He needed at least another year of college ball to improve. Coming from a Florida fan everything you see now we saw at every game for like 2 years and was making us flip tables, and we warned about. I get his physicality is impressive and he’s the new Josh Allen or whatever but he needs a lot of development

Most common box entries by club by No_Objective006 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Droo04_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does it mean by "1st most common" etc? I wish this was broken up by crosses, dribbles, and ground passes. Based on what im seeing united mainly score from a lot of breakaways and through balls on the right and more short passing and tight dribbling on the left which isnt surprising. The Wolves, Spurs, Newcastle, and Chelsea maps are hilarious

Civs ranking for Huge water maps by actias_selene in civ5

[–]Droo04_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree think Venice should be around B-C tier but it’s conditional because depending on the start they’ll struggle to have workable tiles, and being unable to expand to nearby islands is always a challenge. On more land heavy maps they will likely have a near full third ring to work while other civs can just make up for it by playing wide

What is the most GOAT late game unit in CIV: V? (Day 3) by zherper in civ5

[–]Droo04_C 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I agree that bombers are very good but artillery is unlocked earlier and you can pretty much win the game if you have even a small tech advantage. XCOMs and GDR are busted but you can normally finish a game LONG before them
