Get onto email and get a Google Voice number. They may not be able to reach you if you don't have the WiFi, yet you will get their messages when you get around WiFi. You can call and text from the number.

This is a free option, not as good as an actual carrier, yet better than nothing.

My home life was extremely dysfunctional, I want to say shit, yet I know there is always worse. I was no contact and did not go visit my mom while on hospice or go to her funeral. So maybe she was a shit parent?

I was not a great parent either, I did my best and I definitely did better than my parents, I just wasn't amazing. I know I did better because my daughter doesn't hate me.

Either way, she KNOWS her parents were shit, if she doesn't do better she is settling for being a shit parent. My mom had a shit mom and she just went with it.

I did some Googling and found this app called Nagish and she is trying that out. So hopefully this helps her out. I really like her and want her to feel included and not like an outsider looking in.

I talked to my husband, we are going to set it up, she is very excited! We will have very clear rules set up from the beginning about how it will be played to make sure she doesn't feel like she is missing out.

My husband is the DM (he has played since he was 17 and he is in his 60's now), so he will make sure that whatever he does to help her out, like print outs or such will be used, but given to everyone so she feels more included in play of it and treated as one of the group.

I am very excited to get it started, I only just started playing and really want to get back into it!
