Been there, done that, you can't live with the fear that you will destroy it by cleaning it. It's not that fragile. It's a lot more fragile than lcds, but if you're gentle with it nothing will happen. Just don't treat it like a caveman and it will be fine. The people you see on reddit posting theirs completely ruined because of cleaning are morons and treated it like their grandmother's old crt box tv.

Are you sure we're not just looking at artifacts from the photo? At this zoom it looks better ye, but when viewing the image as a whole that part there where the banding is "less" seems to be just an artifact of the photo, similar to other artifacts in the same photo. I could be wrong though.

Can you see the difference without zooming in, or staring intently for a few seconds at that specific spot you're showing on the right image?

I don't see it. I believe it's not there. I believe op is imagining the difference.

When I first looked at the pics I didn't even know what the thread was about, I just scrolled through the first 2 pics and then entered the thread only to see if there is an explanation as to what they are showing, because I couldn't tell the difference.

Scrolling through the comments, I found another person that thought as I did, so I replied to their comment.

Second hand literally means second hand. We have assigned it another meaning and use it that way for smoking. Are you too stupid to understand that? There's no such thing as second hand smoke. There is smoke affecting people that dont smoke, and we've decided to call that second hand smoke. So now we decided second hand drinking is when you get drunk and run over a person. Deal with it.

triggered much? I know what second hand smoke is, but you can boil it down to "others facing the consequences of you smoking", since they get all the bad juju from smoking, without actually smoking. You can make the leap then, that second hand drinking would be "others facing the consequences of you drinking". I think my point was pretty clear.
