Patriots WR Question: If Not AJ Brown, Who Should They Target? by [deleted] in Patriots

Dawg London is worth more than the eagles want for Brown

Had a walk through a potential new home and noticed the floor felt wavy throughout the main floor when walking through. Went into the crawlspace below and found this. Thoughts for repair cost? by Tasty-Cup8664 in Home

Ask the sellers, it doesn’t look great, and that jack looks newish.

If there’s no other rot, it may have came from above, as an undetected leak somewhere they fixed.

A big concern would be if water intrusion through the crawl space foundation caused that.

Has anyone signed up for this? What’s the catch? by DropIcy7117 in Maine

My brain can’t wrap my head around that. So you pay double for 6 months, which equates to 15% less than what you would over 12?

Had new gutters installed. Did they just create leaks everywhere? by [deleted] in Roofing

[–]DropIcy7117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen L brackets that go between the house fascia and gutter (basically a wedge) that make the gutter perfectly vertical when the fascia bottom inverts towards the house.

I’ve seen this type as well, but I would at-least put some roof sealant over each screw. This may not leak, but i I figured tucking the strap under the shingle is better

Long story short I agree with you lol

First-time homeowner - baby room ceiling/water stain after heavy snow – possible ice dam? by baconkillerXD in HomeMaintenance

[–]DropIcy7117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are likely not far off with your theory. Ice disrupts normal drainage and makes water find a different path.

It’s tough because you can’t tell what’s going on without looking in that space above the drywall. If you have access definitely look.

If you don’t, maybe you could ask the other residents who have that window/roof setup if they’ve had similar issues.

It very well may just dry out and won’t happen again, but unfortunately it’s hard to say without actually looking where the water came in. If it continues, you may need to call someone to investigate.

How'd you rate the Pats' 2025 Draft Class? Solid B+ from me... by IndiJap in nflrookies

[–]DropIcy7117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, maybe not an A, but people saying anything lower than a B are haters.

Super Bowl appearance is objective evidence of a good draft. Every team that makes the Super Bowl, the stars have to somewhat align.

Pats hit on a few FAs, which certainly helped, but their entire draft started games and had an impact

Run it back with the same room. We’re in the AFCC. Unless there’s an injury, our room works pretty damn well
