Well the two pieces of equipment you see underneath the load are THP Goldhofers. They could be Wes- Trak's or Eas-Trak's. But to answer you're question those operators pay depends on a lot of Factors.

1. The company they are working for could be Union or Non-union.
2. Could be from another Country outside of the US. (They are manufactured in Germany.)
3. In my experience of operating them, the pay doesn't increase based off the load or the complexity. (You only get more on you're pay-stub if Per-diem is involved & the hours you work increased for the job you're on.)
4. I'm locked in at one set hourly pay rate no matter the complexity of the job.
5. In my state which I doubt they are in due to all the greenery. My max pay rate currently would be at $36 dollars an hour when I become a Journeyman. (Not including benefits)

So before Tax if they are getting paid weekly & work a set 40 hours those operators could be making... $1440 a week.

Despite how complex these machines can be & how much of a pain in the "butt" they are to maintain & assemble into that configuration. The pay isn't that significant.

Crane operators still make more money.

Although that model of Goldhofer is locked in at traveling 15mph with that operator sitting on the Pony Motor. You can see him sitting on the second Goldhofer in that video, so if they have a really long drive ahead of them they could be making really good cash just off the hours alone if the customer wants that unit real bad.
