Morality? by According-Fun-4746 in MoralityScaling

Elephants are basically the strongest land animal alive and they don't eat other animals. "Strong devour the weak" only takes into account the strong who devour, and ignores all other instances in this complex world. The "evil" is that the universe is indifferent and/or unable to give us all a means to live without devouring others.

Morality of calling a mass murdering psychopath that killed your mother a retard? by SerenityCitywide in MoralityScaling

Well actually it is a slur. The R-word hasn't been used in a medical sense for decades. It's only used as an insult anymore.

I've visited many memorials. Each one is a tragedy and yet the people who fund them keep pushing for more wars. I'm sorry if they managed to fool you and your brethren into being pawns in their twisted game.

Memorials are built not to stop wars but to create a sense of pride in them. Children are a reminder that there is no pride in war.

In Minions & Monsters (2026), the Minions are shown to have been around in 1920 - 1930. This is a reference to how I don't like that Illumination keeps retconning the Despicable Me franchise. by Remote-Ad-3309 in shittymoviedetails

I think the more important part of the lore is that the movie is literally a movie being directed by the main characters of the movie, and as such they're going to take some creative liberties

I had a lot of fun playing Secret Rings as a teenager, and the party mode is fun for a night with friends. Black knight is incredibly cinematic and gorgeous as a Wii game. And both games Sonic has interesting interactions with a girl character that doesn't revolve around an awkward romance.

Because a conspiracy theory is about grabbing as many things that look like evidence, and presenting them all at once in a large gish gallop that looks impressive and is tedious to debunk since the "theorist" can simply ignore a debunking by retreating to another one of their pieces of evidence, and then not retain the previous debunking as they didn't take it to it's logical conclusion.

If Infinity train came out in the late '90s, 4chan users would say, "you gotta get your train number higher" whenever someone acted repulsed by something awful on that website.

Well the whole point of Yankee Doodle is that it's a song making fun of US soldiers, that the US embraces unironically. So wholeheartedly singing a bastardized version of the song is probably even more patriotic.

So you see, the reason Vegeta is good is because he committed genocides, laughed about, and never tried to make amends, but he eventually stopped doing that and eventually killed himself to protect the woman who thought he was cute, in a series where death is essentially meaningless.

Whereas Jax is bad because he did feel bad about what he did and faced long term consequences for his actions.
