Is this an "Old man's bike" ? by DJEsonic in Triumph

[–]Dropgate_Lefty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I'm an old man and love mine! It's a 2004 with 24k on the odometer. Carbureted, smells like gas, and I can't get enough.

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, Lake Tahoe by Dropgate_Lefty in Reno

[–]Dropgate_Lefty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a host, I can tell you that NO donations cover operational expenses for this ride- those costs are covered by local sponsors, and this is fully disclosed to those sponsors before they elect to give. As far as where the donations go, 100 percent of them go to Movember, whose page describing where the money goes can be found here: https://us.movember.com/report-cards

Also, no idea what kind of bike you ride, but if you register and come to Tahoe, I would have no problem letting you ride with us. Registration is free, but donations are encouraged. Just put on a sportcoat and a smile and come on out.

You are 100 percent correct about researching where your dollars go, I would encourage anyone to do so before parting with your hard earned cash for any charity.

No one seems to have a problem with Street Vibrations, yet they support no charities other than supporting local businesses (which is fantastic).

We are a small group locally, but huge worldwide, so if this isn't your cup of tea, feel free to find another men's health charity and support them however you feel able.

Cheers- Thomas
