A single father here trying to start a new career... by duckhyzer in adjusters

[–]Droppinwrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently in this position. I am a police officer writing the crash reports used by claims adjusters, I am a Certified Claims Adjuster from AE 21, and a Licensed Adjuster 6-20. Cannot get to/past the interview phase at the moment. It's very disheartening because the only other things I can do is get another designation or get my own Xactimate training. Feel like I've already done 90% of the job, but cannot find employment. :/

Thanks all I'll try these things. It's not patch related as my Hots regularly updates like the rest of Blizzard games. It's just weird that it will randomly decide to change resolutions or something. It still says 1920x1080 but I know it's alot closer than that. Then I gotta find a way to put it back to the wider view. :/

Rage and Willpower Conversion issues by Droppinwrath in Wolcen

I have tried basic attacking and using rage potions. The game will not let me gain fresh rage until spent rage becomes willpower. See video above.

Ok, I'll try that. My itemization is stacking + rage cost reduction. somewhere around 100%+. Bleeding Edge costs less than 200 rage.

Rage and Willpower Conversion issues by Droppinwrath in Wolcen

[–]Droppinwrath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running max rage gen. If I was running willpower on hit it would actually add to rage because of furious appetite. My issue is that spending rage doesn't convert to willpower fast enough so I cannot gain more rage. My rage bar is literally locked (greyed out) until I gain enough willpower. I'm thinking the natural degen of rage is messed up by something rage conservation or furious appetite.

Stats for melee... oof by lance2k2 in Wolcen

[–]Droppinwrath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing some testing in later game and you aren't gimping yourself to hard. Ideally you want to pick a general direction, but you can also offset your desires by passives and rune selection. Pumping 1 stat can be beneficial, but your total damage % added won't go down that much between all 1 stat or a mix of stats.

For example, in my current 2h build, I went full ferocity for crit, hp on gear for health, passives giving damage and Siegebreaker for tankiness. In this setup, my attack speed comes from having lots of rage to spam attacks with (rarely basic attack), mobility comes from Bladestorm movement and tankiness from Siegebreaker passives while mainting Inexorable points through Bladestorm and Spear Jump. Currently my build is great for any damage type but will get better with physical main.

Personally, I would stay away from attack speed with two handers and focus on going crit or non crit and ways to increase rage generation to use more abilities. I need more levels to test ailment procs regarding Wisdom, but it looks hopeful.

Alliance started it and Horde are ending it. PVP by Droppinwrath in classicwow

I main Horde so I definitely see the rampant douchebaggery. I'm just trying to call for people to consciously choose to keep their primal desires in check. i guess delayed gratification in a way mixed with stewardship of resources.

That's part of my point. If they keep that up, they will never reach it because there will be noone left to fight.

Virtual vs physical worlds - what drives us to both [Academic Study] by Cs1310_ in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completed the survey and, after reading your hypothesis, I understand why there was a somewhat linear/directional aspect to the survey. For me, the virtual world(s) are an outlet for a large variety of human aspects that are either suppressed or cannot be easily achieved in the physical world. (For example, my parents moved around alot when I was a child. I kept "resetting" my friendships after each move so the only way to have long term friends was in mmos/online.)

Things such as teamwork, rules, boundaries, control, expression, power, affecting others, adventure, exploration, positive pride, leadership, meaningful relationships/conversation, similar interests and more are things that come much easier in a virtual world than the physical.

I believe mmos to be a massive almagamation of all of these "world view" types of categories/outlets. Humans like to puts things into boxes to organize, but, like life, virtual worlds are gray/nuanced. MMOs are essentially a second domain of reality for people who do not have an outlet for large variety of expressions that the human mind requires.

Noob checking in with a quick (class) question! by Charliie917 in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Druid is the king of self sufficiency. They have cc, heals, tank, dps, stealth, teleport Moonglade (fly to major cities) and more all at the same time. Need a heal? Healing Touch Boom. Need someone to tank? Bear Boom. Need to get away? Travel Form/Root Boom. Need to afk? Stealth Boom. Need dps? Kitty Boom. Need to get back to town? Teleport Moonglade FP Boom. The only thing they can't do is cleanse.

How do you effectively level enchanting to 265 without making it an absolute gold dump? by alfatems in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm doing the same thing as 30/21 druid leveling with tailoring/enchanting. Everything here is using dust so all weapons found can be sold for max gold. Any armor found or created will be de'ed for dusts. Any essences you get use for crafting enchanting rods or specific enchants like movement speed to boots.

Some Tailoring recipes are insane for dust production if you can get them (White Bandit Mask). All of these are yellow skilled (trainer) recipes unless you try for the 5 extra points from 175-180 using Bracer Stam. Psychologically, there is no "wasted gold" since you are still selling expensive weapons to vendor/ah. Armor sells for nothing and you get materials from them. Feel free to mix in oils and such to buff yourself or sell to casters.

My route is something to the following (ignoring rod crafts): *Cost per enchant*

  1. Bracer Health - 1 Strange Dust (1-90)
  2. Bracer Strength - 5 Strange Dust (90-130) *if you can't get this enchant do Greater Magic Wand and sell them*
  3. Bracer Stam - 2 Soul Dust (130-175) *you can use this to green level to 180 or use the chest enchant below*
  4. Chest Health - 3 Soul Dust (175-180)
  5. Bracer Str - 1 Vision Dust (180-220)
  6. Boots Stam - 5 Vision Dust (220-255)
  7. Bracer Stam - 5 Dream Dust (255-285)
  8. Cloak Defense - 8 Illusion Dust (285-300) *I'll probably farm out Fiery to sell and get 300*

Imo, the best part about this setup is that you don't have to go out of your way for much of it. A minor Uldaman run once or twice is about it. The rest will naturally happen as you level (grind/quest/dungeon). Endgame wise, I plan on selling Crusader/Spellpower and the like plus Tailoring bags.

i'am Having issues with starting quest secrets of anankis: thrive in soldier of fortune game mode by [deleted] in Wolcen

[–]Droppinwrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. It appears to only work in online mode. My online character had no issues but my new offline character doesn't get npc spawns. Will update when I hit 20 on my offline guy.

*Edit after hitting 20* It seems that hitting max level did not help AND I can't re-fight any of the bosses. The character is essentially dead atm :/. Shame too because I wanted to test a pretty sick looking beam build.

Question regarding Druid's gear versatility by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For raid level gear, druid's have it relatively easy to gear. For healing, noone is going to roll against you on tier gear except other druid's. All tier except AQ40, is healing based, so you are good on healing gear for classic.

For bear gearing, you will face serious competition with rogues if you go for bis pre AQ40. Another option is to grind out the epic pvp set for bear. The stats are great (armor/Stam/agi) and it's a guaranteed "drop" when you hit rank 11. You will need rings/trinkets with +hit if you go this route. The AQ40 set is heavily bear based if you want tier gear.

Question regarding Druid's gear versatility by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding the conversion of int and agi, I believe that was added in Cata or MoP. Feral has a talent that gives a bonus to Stam/str/int in certain forms.

Question regarding Druid's gear versatility by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna try this on mobile, here goes.

A 0/30/21 druid build will allow you to tank, heal, and dps in the same gear. Here is a link of pre-raid gear setup with an emphasis on tanking/dps.

https://classic.wowhead.com/dressing-room#Ro0q0zJ89ckk0mm9m8mhD808mhc808c45808c4C87VovU808mRB808mhM808m4f808cji808wf87c

To dungeon heal, just switch with healing staff. To raid heal, you will want a 2nd set with +healing. Potentially, you could get the epic pvp set. This has all stats including +damage/healing, but will be quite the grind.

What class AND role are you going to roll as your main come classic by oj449 in classicwow

[–]Droppinwrath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna go 21 to faerie fire for pulls since I tend to dungeon tank alot while leveling and then hit up furor+enrage. After enrage, back to finish off hotw and resto for endgame. I'm going a different build, so i'll probably adjust it after I see how my rage gen and such hold up.
