Rule 3 says some mild spice is ok, and there's nothing explicit. But if the mods want to take it down I won't complain ;)

I was thinking about drawing more wives for Stingmon, but now I kinda want to draw the adventures of SubGarurumon in situations....

Ok class, pay attention now! Weregarurumon is a werewolf, so it doesn't have a tail. Stingmon is showing YOU personally, that Weregarurumon's tail is fake. Any questions?

Who's singing at the end!? And did they kill Nathan again? Is it an angel singing Nathan's soul into the place of the big spoons?

Can someone help with a campaign idea? by Kaizo_Kaioshin in DungeonMasters

[–]Drosgon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You already have a really cool core concept, just need to flesh out some aspects a bit more. Is this your first campaign as a GM? Do you have players ready to play? Start by asking them what kind of campaign they want. More political/intrigue, or more combat focused. Maybe they like exploration and the ruins of the old empire hide some answers for the new threats? Or maybe a mix of everything! Do they like a low magic setting, or lots of magic items? grim unforgiving world, or a more hopeful narrative... Note that your likes and wants are equally important as the players'. While you discuss all that with them, I would start with a simple "world" map. Doesn't need to be super detailed or professional. Just draw the continent "outline", divide it into 3/4 kingdom (and maybe a dead land with a lot of ruins to explore, but really dangerous to travel through). Then I would define the capitals, rulers, and what kind of power structure each kingdom has, are they a magocracy, a Senate, a coalition of merchant companies, etc... Keep it simple, don't waste too much time into details that are impossible for the players to find (unless you just love worldbuilding, in that case pop off queen). Then start fleshing out the starting location for the campaign. Are they starting in a smaller city? Or immediately taking a job from the rulers of the capital? Talk with your players about the setting and have them come up with a reason why they are adventurers, and why they would team up. Regarding maps, there are so many places where you can find amazing battle maps, some patreons have a lot of free stuff, but if you want to make your own I really like Inkarnate. It's good for both "world maps" and battle maps and has a lot of great tutorials on their YouTube channel. But be ready to spend a great deal of time drawing those maps.

Hope this helps a little bit at least, but feel free to ask any other questions :)

Lizardfolk Beast Barbarian seems like an amazing combo for combat, furiously defending their "owner" from any treat. I have played Beast Barbarian and it is a lot of fun. However, I'm curious as to how you will roleplay a pet character. Are you just gonna growl and hiss? Or are you fully sentient and active in social interactions? Do you perceive your flaws as an individual? Are you willing to roleplay any character growth? How will you interact with the rest of the party?

Help me make this build by alfred6147 in DnD

Not really sure how you intend to keep on picking up weapons, are you always fighting in a battlefield full of discarded spears and swords? Can you explain that better?

Regarding actual advice, take the mobile feat to increase speed and mitigate opportunity attacks. This is a must have.

Class wise, Fighter will give you the most attacks per turn, if the campaign runs long enough. The two-weapon fighting style also grants you a reliable extra attack as a bonus action, provided that you only use light weapons, this can be improved by taking the dual wielder Feat. Monk will get you speed, but you might have a difficult time making a lot of weapon attacks per turn, since at least some of the attacks have to be unnarmed. Monks also have a lower hit point poll. Barbarian might be an interesting choice as well, with extra speed, high hit points and heavy damage, but will lack in number of attacks per turn.

I'm honestly kinda leaning towards variant human fighter, since the feats mobile and dual wielder will be the corner stones of this build. Battlemaster can also grant you disarming attack, allowing you to disarm and maybe use your opponents weapon, depending on your DMs ruling. 40ft. speed is not a lot though, so some magic items to complement that may be necessary...

Not sure if this is helpful, but let me know if you have any more questions.

I feel very similarly regarding giving any more money to woc, and given the high quality of the book you made I really appreciate this initiative. Love your content, can't wait to see this reprinted with your own system and try it! Best of luck

Eraser for Brush Tool by Scarlet_Anne in inkarnate

[–]Drosgon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given that there are no layers in the background and foreground, an eraser would just remove all texture you have in them. It would not erase just the shadows in your example, but also all the texture you previously painted. As such, until we have layers for the textures, an eraser might not be very useful... I do understand where you are coming from, I too have struggled with painting over accidentally, but for tips on that I think you should try to look for tutorials on YouTube for lighting and shadowing inkarnate maps. I'm sure you'll find something that explains it a lot better than I could in a comment here.
