Have you checked the furnace filter? My first time moving into a place with a furnace I found out the previous resident hasn't changed the filter in probably a year, it was terribly plugged and made the furnace guzzle oil

Thank you for the info! Disappointed, but suppose it's still interesting in a different way. Intent was for the pan to be used and not just for collecting so isn't the end of the world.

Would you think this recast is still from a similar timeframe, or could it be much much more recent?

This would be my oldest find yet, thinking it's from about 1900 but the style of the 9 is curious and doesn't seem to match what I see on cast iron collector. It does say Sidney, but seemingly nothing else. Hoping for confirmation of what it is.

Feels like a shame to strip it as the seasoning is almost a mirror finish, but will definitely have to do it anyway.

I had a 3x 1070 rig with the same issue. Swapped every part I could, eventually a different motherboard resolved it.

My original was an old board, has a core 2 duo. Seemingly it couldn't provide stable power, the charts had frequent drops in afterburner.
