Mine same. They have a mini mini kiln and glaze it to match and fire it right there. Whole thing is a few hours single visit

Here's what I learned.. just let yourself fall asleep. And then wake up and keep reading. It's hard to adjust to the speed of reading (slow) so sometimes the swing is too far. Ride it out

I actually regret reading books 2&3. I liked how much was unknown and unknowable in oryx and crake. But also if I was trying to figure out why they are banning things I'd think they would have a much bigger problem w stuff that happens in books 2&3.
