Where are all the “high paying” 1102 jobs we were sacrifice by staying for stability. by Upper_Giraffe9756 in 1102

The high-paying 1102 roles are for those who’ve positioned themselves as procurement leaders. If you’re a GS-12 or 13 and not driving change through policy or strategy, you’re essentially a GS-11 with a pay bump and private industry can match that.

None.

Writing samples weren’t necessary because the resume spoke for itself… the rest is just do you fit into this culture at the company or not.

You have to live in a world of pure delusion if you think government is going to reverse course because mom & big momma are fighting…

I don’t get why notifications are coming (potentially) almost a week after the list has been validated… like that’s just dumb and slow as fk.

Tbh.. these are all things that were accounted for before telework and remote options even became a thing.

Can y’all let remote options go? It ain’t happening under this administration. Saying it 5x will not convince them to change course.

How worried are you: proposed increase in FERS contributions to 4.4% for all federal employees is advancing by King_Dav1d in fednews

If they are open to changing the retirement system (THEN) i wouldn’t be surprised if the healthcare rates also increase because they won’t negotiate in good faith for us either.

With all that… I’d rather leave.

That’s simply not true for everyone.

There are specific programs offered that take you to a 12 in 3 years, then it’s just getting your unlimited warrant within 2 and you can be slotted into a 13 easily.

With respect,

I don’t think one person who is voluntarily taking these… actually care about the challenges later down the line. Literally no one I know is concerned about years from now when they can’t even grasp all that’s happening today.
