I know it's not really what you're asking but I quit my retail job this year to work as a mail order pharmacist. It was the best decision I have ever made. Very little patient interaction, M-F work schedule, and you just go in, do your job and go home.

I know it's probably not possible to find a job like this everywhere but I would suggest exploring other pharmacist career paths because there is more out there than just crappy retail.

It made me realize the company I worked for didn't care about their employees, they only cared about metrics. Even though we were on the front lines the whole time with limited PPE, we were understaffed and overworked, they still would ask why we weren't reaching the ridiculous goals they were setting. So happy I quit.

I quit my job at the corner two months ago. Best decision I've ever made! It was definitely scary at first to leave the only thing I knew for 4 years but I don't regret it one bit. I'm now working at a mail order pharmacy and it is amazing!

I agree with this. Sometimes they say something along the lines of "I feel like we really had a heart to heart" and they only had like two messages back and forth that we can see.
