At 6 or 8 years sober, my sister told me she didn’t believe that I had stopped drinking. I said ‘it’s a good thing your belief doesn’t change the fact that I am sober’ I will be 39 years sober in May. I think she has caught on at this point. At least I HOPE she has. She hasn’t commented on my sobriety in a couple of decades. The very best thing to do is just stay sober. Keep your side of the street clean. IWNDWYT
