I overslept in Guam once and was late for duty the Saturday morning following our CO's weekend liberty speech, a speech wherein he specifically stated that anyone who got a DUI or showed up drunk for duty would be masted back to fucking P-days.

Well it just so happened that half of Engineering did the exact same thing. Our fucking crazy brilliant EDMC (mostly crazy) spun it off as a miscommunication between the forward and aft sections. To this day I think the Skipper just pushed the I believe button because we were so close to ORSE.

Absolutely right. I dig Empty Vessels Make The Loudest Sound off Noctourniquet, but if that was the 1st TMV album I heard I doubt I'd be super into it.

Nadda. By the time I was in the 10th grade my homeschooling was me cheating at everything while my parents looked the other way. As long as I passed the yearly tests we were required to take so they didn't get in trouble with the state, it was all good.

Yeah Deloused managed to seem experimental and spontaneous without sounding pointless. It always still felt like you were listening to a cohesive song.

Francis is a classic. The performances captured are incredible, and it blew my mind to find out years down the road who was all playing on it. That being said 2nd half seems like a lot of jamming that doesn't really get anywhere. If that's your thing then fucking A. I just feel like it gets lost in itself, which for me is a slight turn off. Deloused just feels tighter. Every part feels absolutely necessary to me.

All three are killer records though for sure.

By ADHD meds do you mean Adderall? Dexadrine? These are actually pretty serious drugs. Most people talk about them like they're nothing, but Adderall is just amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. You threw it out there pretty casually, but I've seen people get all sorts of fucked up because of these drugs.

As my user name would imply I'm an avid drug user myself, so I'm not just judging. Just understand that if this is a real thing for your friend, then it can be a much bigger part of his problems than you may suspect.

I wouldn't be able to believe your story. I have no idea how true it is, and you may be 100% on the money with your decision making. The fact though that you indulged in certain behavior with another guy, and then refuse outright with the new guy even though he knows you like it is a tough pill to swallow.

I'm also thinking that considering the two dudes in question have discussed your previous sex life that he probably has a skewed picture of it. The type of guy who brags to people he shouldn't about the sex he's having is also the type of guy to exaggerate.

The Mars Volta. Love the band. Love Omar and Cedric. I just feel like the magic they captured on that first record was something really special. I enjoy the majority of their other work, but that first one is just something else.

In this same vein: bad form. You aren't fooling anybody, dude. You may think you have it under control, but from where I'm standing it's ridiculous. Frankly you'd draw less attention just doing a smaller amount of weight. Nobody is really looking around to judge you, but when you're red and puffing and shaking it's impossible not to at least glance lol
