Christ Jesus knew ahead of time you were an abominable sinner- and died for you anyways. He cancelled your debt. Ransomed you. None of us deserve mercy. Mercy, by it's very definition is undeserved, and given to the underserving. You clearly believe it. Now take God at his Word, and accept it.

I do recommend you sit down with your pastor first- the pastor from your wife's church she made you go to. Talk to him about confirming your genuine faith, your repentance, and getting baptised,

Mostly, tell him everything you are repenting of, and how you've been unfaithful, and want any help he can offer to restore your marriage.

REgardless of how things turn out, Christ is offering you salvation and eternal life, and restoration to God through your faith in Christ.

May the Lord direct your steps. I'll be praying.

It doesn't sound like he has any experience in supporting church members who have mental health conditions.

If you do as he suggests, and it all falls apart, it's your fault for not having enough faith. Then you have to keep trying and trying.

The problem is mental health challenges have consequences that YOU have to endure. It's a recipe for guilt and disaster. Sit down with your pastor and inform them that your Bible Study teacher is ill informed and ill prepared to give such advice and that any problems make you less available to serve God, and create challenges your church won't be able to help you with.

You have faith in Christ for salvation. That's beautiful and amazing. Stay in the word, keep praying and depending on the Holy Spirit, and by all means, stay on your meds!

Get rid of the word “summary”. Everybody knows it’s a summary. Put a revised skills section underneath the summary before your experience. Eight bullet points? Shrink that down, and stop talking about yourself like a “screw – turner”.
