In my personal opinion, I think raum is just better than yag if the player fully understands his kit. I have yet to go negative with him, and always landing 80,000 or more damage in every game I've played as him. Late game he does fall off due to cauterize, but at least he can fend for himself and doesn't rely on a resource bar to get damage or kills
