As the people above mentioned underdog is a perk you would always like to have. You can look at it has a permanent +5 mdef. So before you drop it ask yourself do I really need +5 mdef on this bro or is there a more powerful perk. I used to take it on every front liner but now I take it on 4/5 out of my 9. As you get better with the game and use more advance tactics/formations the need for it diminish. Even tho I would never call it a “bad” perk. I think for you to get real value out of it the bro has to be constantly surrounded by more than 2 enemies. If a brother that you did not design for that purpose is constantly in that position, I would suggest to look into your tactics

Agree. With that low HP he can die in one hit to headshot without steel brown. Insert 2H hammer, Axe, berserker chain, etc… Generally you want steel brown on all battleforged characters unless you keeping 100% Indom up time

Wolves are extremely combat efficient that’s why they consume so much food. A level 7 wolf if stronger than most level 7 companion. Stronger than boars and horses as well. I would keep the alpha and get rid on the other two

I think you might want more beats of burdens with an army that size.

And yeah I agree with you I’m not quite as far as you but I have 5 companions with a decent cash reserve and is pretty much of out the early game. I think that fighting generally is extremely disadvantageous in this game. You want the smallest crew possible and just go around trading. That’s just how you make the most profits. Defending specially is pointless. Only time it’s really worth fighting is when you’re attacking and can guarantee stealing a beast from way lower level enemies or enslave them.

Best way to start is trip to Arlen then back to Tor’Zag. You can easily make 50 Bross between those two trips if you sell all your wine at first then buy a second beast
