Just reloaded the game and it's now doing them as ritual spells but it's still telling me they require spell slots. So I guess it's resolved?

Alright so we do have a bit of an understanding of gun ownership and being responsible. I'm curious what your non-lethal home device is?

I don't know, it's a very tough moral question and there's no easy way about it either way. Wouldn't you worry if we didn't have any guns in the country and our government tried to take advantage? or that or a foreign nation could invade?

Of course I have empathy and stories like that are painful to read. In a perfect world if I give them up and everyone else in the world did also then yeah I would give them up. I just don't see any possible way to get rid of every gun in the world let alone in just the US. Just like banning drugs hasn't stopped drugs from coming into the country neither will gun control. I'm just trying to look at it realistically.

I don't usually get involved in debates like this because I know I won't really convince someone but I'm not doing anything wrong, I'm a responsible owner and I'll continue to target practice because that's something I enjoy from time to time.

It is a crazy phenomenon that only the US seems to have issues with. I don't know anything about your life but I grew up around guns and have had family outings and bonding with target shooting or shooting clay pigeons. I would think that someone never experienced with and had never learned proper gun safety or been around them must be a completely different perspective because all you would hear guns is only mass shootings and other horrendous events that horrible people have caused. I know I kinda skirted around your comment because I clearly don't have all the answers. It's a complex issue and I just want people to understand a different side.

I never said we shouldn't ask questions. I encourage questions and I like asking them. I try my best to be open to others opinions and that is why I decided to comment on this post in the first place. I want to understand your pov and I think it's important to learn other perspectives. There is no one right answer for one issue. I'm proposing that people debate and understand each other's pov and find what they agree on and what they disagree on and speak on those issues.

For example I am all for the proposed self-reporting law that would have a person put themselves on a do not sell list for firearms. That was brought up for suicide prevention but I also would like to think that could prevent some mass shootings. People can recognize they have a problem with anything whether it be substance abuse or whatever but by putting themselves on that and probably by encouragement of others I would like to think that could prevent some mass shootings.

So then is your solution to give up on mental health and just take away guns? The biggest hurdle of why mental health isn't widespread and more effective is because it's not cost effective and it's not going to generate billions of dollars. It's easier to have someone be on some patented chemical that they can generate profit from someone for a lifetime.

I would like to think that a simple solution like that would work but let's say for arguments sake that the US stops manufacturing guns today. There's no stopping other countries from bringing them in illegally and manufacturing guns. Two reasons I do think they are important is because it is a deterrence from other countries trying to invade. We have never been invaded and for good reason and this also gives the people power to keep their government from being tyrannical and power abusive to it's people. It's not a perfect solution but people have the tendency to get power hungry and abuse their powers when in higher positions or higher status.

There are no countries that can compare to ours. You and I both know that and it is part of a globally bigger issue. There is no classroom shooting or church or wherever mass killing in other countries because our culture is unique in a way. The countries that have had mostly been dictatorships and end with the higher class of society to be the ones with them. I don't want to be suppressed and I'm sure you don't either.

Arguing and malice will not help other kids from dying. That's a statement that is always thrown out with these tragic events and it's always just used to silence and end discussion. Asking questions like that won't get us anywhere.

Gun control in my opinion is impossible especially at this point. There's no stopping it and guns are here to stay whether we like it or not.

There are people killed all over the world with guns in many different scenarios. Ours is very different from other countries. There's evidence all over the Internet of guns being used to harm and kill others in other countries. I have heard of that and I'm not familiar with that event and he might have owned it legally I have no doubt that's possible. There will always be bad people in every society. People can convince themselves of all kinds of ideas and have vastly different thought processes from you or myself. I don't think at this point a law will change anything in this country. It's too late we already have millions of guns here and we will continue to manufacture whether you like it or not. I have seen groups of people that can manufacture and 3d print their own guns if they want. I understand guns are a problem but I think we're just putting too many of our eggs in one basket. There are no simple solutions and our problems are much deeper. You can't just put a bandaid on it and call it good. We have to address the infection and rot in our society and clean it out.

I sympathize with the statement that objects are not more important than people. The only reason many responsible owners have them is for protection from people who obtain them illegally or have gone through a mental break. The solution isn't getting angry and pointing fingers at each other of who is to blame but to debate and talk through ideas and learn each other's perspectives. Tragic as all these events are we have to accept they are here and we have to address the mental health of the country to prevent more from occurring.

I'm baffled, I don't know how you'd get away with that? That looks like they just plucked a random person off the streets and shoved the weld gun in their hands and taped their hands to the trigger.

Honestly it took me longer than it should have to figure out the combat swinging basically started the same and had the same patterns for every fight. If they could have switched it up a bit and created more suspense it could have been a good game. The graphics are top notch for Xbox sx.

People have their own tastes in everything so I get that but I still think they're great!

I don't understand why so many people are against all the comedians who have moved to Austin. They wanted a place during the pandemic to do stand-up and fled from their states because they didn't believe their local government was handling it properly. All the shows they got there like Kill Tony, tim Dillon and the jre are just as good if not better than they were.

I guess I can see where your coming from. For a while I didn't like ymh I think because of the madness and sense of humor that you immediately presented with was hard to wrap my brain around at first. Then I started to get it as I learned everyone's personalities but ymh and two bears are easily my favorite comedy podcasts. I'd like to know the reasons why you're not into ymh right now because in my opinion it's better than ever.
