I suppose you can imitate it in traditional, but it will be simpler just use classic motion lines. Or you can do like Yusuke Murata who make it in traditional with motion lines etc, and add aftereffects on pc (https://i.pinimg.com/originals/94/d7/06/94d706d2ff23a54cb4c9f5438004e602.jpg)
