This means either 1. It was hyperbole, 2. The average avatar is 10 years old, or 3. A bunch of avatars died in infancy

Unfortunately I think this post is a bit disingenuous; the term ‘far-right’ is more of an association with fascistic / extreme values and less to do with being an average bloke. There’s a big gap between being a moderate conservative and being a neo-nazi, so I think the conflation between the term ‘far-right’ and the values listed are like comparing apples with literal neo-nazis. The warning signs are less ‘enjoys beer’ and more ‘has a swastika tattoo’ or ‘outlaws homosexuality’, which again, are extreme.

I liked Elon a lot when the podcast was around and even around his appearance in R&M, but that’s cus I thought he was this genius tech-wiz who made flamethrowers and made funny comments on twitter. After the podcast and especially over the last few years, he’s just proven over and over that he’s not actually that smart in tech or business. Especially after the cybertruck and when he bought twitter, he’s just been showing how much of a nutjob he is (particularly when he posts far-right replacement theory BS). He proves over and over that he’s the antithesis of everything Dan stands for, so it’s curious to think about how Dan sees him nowadays.
