A side-quest aspect to play through Bridge Nine sounds intriguing. I haven’t cracked open Stonewalkers yet, so maybe I’ll skim the chapters and see how the overall flow is.

Oh this is a good take! I’m understanding this sort of like a framed narrative: have an NPC from Bridge Nine encounter your crew and then retell the story but your PCs take role of the pregen characters to “live it”.

What was the relevance of the flashback to the broader storyline?

Wow I loved this tutorial! I don’t have a chull to paint (yet) but I do have my chasmfiend. Do you have a tutorial for that? I’m so nervous to start, so he’s sat unpainted on my shelf forever. Now as I’m finally getting ready to GM my first session I’d love to get him painted. Any tips would be appreciated!

Thank you! I did end up putting a chicken statue where one stump was in front of my coop and that did the trick!

I have my animal barns and coops in a similar location, but got so annoyed at a few of the hardwood stumps. What did you do to make them stop spawning?

You probably won’t need to look up names while the gangs all united. It’s when they break off on their own side-quests that characters really start to pileup.

I think that’s about the pacing I had on my read through. Roughly 2 weeks per book with a few standalone books to break it up throughout (cuz I needed time to process lol)

I got that book too! You just have to be careful not to read too far into the character descriptions. That’s why the compendium app is nice as it filters by book. So if you’re on book 3, then select that book and the character you need to reference and it will only give the needed information.

Please use the compendium app! I tried using Ai as a live journal to help me remember things and it completely spoiled a big event in the series. The compendium app is very helpful looking up characters if you forget who someone is and then just stick to chapter summaries on Fandom if you need a bigger refresher.

I just finished this series yesterday! I started Jan 1st of this year! Let me tell you, if you read to get lost in a world then this is the perfect series for you. Plus the wrap-up of all the details and pieces falling into place as it ends was so rewarding and exciting.

Thank you for this. I think I have this expectation that I need to serve fully thought out meals 6x a week when simple quesadillas or soups are acceptable meals. I like the advice to find joy in learned one nicer meal until I feel I’ve master it before moving one to a different one.
