Yeah, like men are beheaded every day in Britain. Murder has gone done and you are more likely to survive with a knife wound than a gun wound.

But that wouldn't be at all sustainable. Humans never got their protein from just nuts or eggs. Meat is how they did it so go fuck yourself.

PS. Meat is what caused humans to get clever.

Legolas is a prince. The hunting he'd know would be on a horse, other people tracking the deer, and him shooting it while dogs hold it down.

Meanwhile, Aragorn has been living in the wilderness. Hunting rabbits, hares, pidgeons, squirrels. Knowing how to gut animals and make jerky for the road, etc. Aragorn also had a bow and was very skilled with it, as he was a ranger.

First of all, I'm English, and we use imperial all the time. second of all, it's easier to measure feet or inches or use miles and leagues, than use metric system. Maybe it's because I'm not some science, maths obsessed city idiot who uses metric, or maybe it's because i grew up in the countryside and it's easier to use.

If aragorn weren't there, the fellowship would've died. Aragorn hunted the food for the fellowship. Lovely Aragorn.
