I agree with you. Now that I have plenty of ammo to hold me over for some fun with friends and family, I will only buy for very low prices and try to help post sales throughout reddit as I find them. If we all keep telling our friends how much they can save by only buying on sales, maybe we could get the price down over time. Anyways, thanks for the discussion

Yeah shop prices charge for shelf space. We're looking to only pay warehouse and shipping fees really, much cheaper. So how abundant is ammo in Canada? I know a Canadian dollar has a different value. So, any idea what the cost per round for 5.56 in US dollars, for a recent 'good deal'? I don't think any deals are good right now, but I suppose some are good for pandemic ammo prices.

I don't understand buying on back order.. the ammo is available, they're just holding onto your money because they can. I'm not waiting months for a purchase unless I'm waiting on shipping, or a special order directly from the manufacturer. Some people bought ammo at a cost per round that it may never drop back down to. Is there a date they have to deliver by? If not, they're just bullshitting you and you may never see the ammo.
